My sister family and mine book 2 rooms (2 queen beds each) for a extended weekend in Houston. We arrive today, and we began with the left foot... The hotel couldnt asign our rooms at check in time (3 pm) We decided to go shopping and return almost 9 pm; just to be informed that they didnt have one of our rooms... they had a king, and that was not suitable for us, but we didnt have a choice, so we took it... just to have another surprise.. the asigned room had some mud... yes, mud in the coach that we would have to use as they didnt have the double queen that we paid... The hotel is completely full.. but with clearly not enough staff... ... doesnt make any sense... if the hotel is functioning to its 100% capacity, is not right to have so poor service...

After reading reviews I started to cancel my reservation but once I checked in and out I Wiccan say the stay was not as bad as the reviews. I would recommend. My only issue was the front desk etc being on 3rd floor and an issue with valet worker using profanity and throwing keys because he was upset. I would recommend. Oh a little pricey $714 for 3 night.

Customer service is the worst. Breakfast was cheap. They don’t respect their guests. They try to overcharge the guests. I wasn’t even using a car for this trip but they charged me valet parking charges $70. They said they would refund it. But I haven’t seen it yet. They didn’t refund my $100 deposit too. Rooms are clean but no bath tub, no microwave. Lighting wasn’t good. Location was great though.

Pros: The place was good for the price. Excellent location, not super clean, but after mentioning to housekeeping that the room was dirty they tended to it immediately. Cons: The front desk lady from the morning shift is extremely rude. The breakfast (because of covid restrictions) is less than great, instant oatmeal and fruit in syrup is hardly a good breakfast. The coffee machine in my room didn't work.

I was very excited to have found this place for such a great price. However, I was very upset to learn that when I checked in there is only paid parking. This was nowhere listed on my reservation. Had I known this, I would have looked elsewhere as I do not have the extra funds to pay for parking. But since it was Easter Weekend and we were checking in, my hands were tied and we stayed. The room was nice, but the hallway was very loud throughout the night. The door would rattle every time someone would enter the floor or slam their room doors. Plus, the outside pool area, although nice to have, was also very loud and we were on the 4th floor. On the parking side, yes, you get garaged parking, but was it worth the extra money - no. I complained to the management and they did nothing. The manager reached out to me via email offering his apologies, but never responded to my replies and requests for a refund on the parking. I have even written Hyatt twice, once immediately after my visit and second time after the third attempt failed to receive a reply from the manager - Hyatt has yet to respond to one of them and it's been over a month. I must confess, I have never had this experience with a hotel (or a company for that matter) before. If I were you, I would look elsewhere, I know I will the next time I am in Houston.
