Not a hotel I will patronize again or recommend to loved ones visiting as this property is convenient to my residence. When we checked in, two men came in the foyer where I was paying, appearing to be the owners, as the front desk lady checking me in literally dropped everything in her hands and RAN to the stuck foyer door to slide it open for them - during their wait, it was clear that they do not find the need to say hello or greet their guests (we have staff for that). It was interesting because the foyer part was starting to flood right on their feet (mine too) and as the front desk lady helped them inside because apparently two men can't do slide open the door themselves; as they let her struggle without taking their warm hands out of their pockets they saw the water getting high but did not invite me in to the lobby and my boots were getting wet, so...yeah, not the most chivalrous moment I've experienced. We reserved this hotel during the February 2021 storm; we understand that the power was lost a couple times. It was on by morning again. I went down for coffee - both office doors locked, a brunette front desk girl on her phone as she unlocked it for me, to tell me they are not serving anything. Wow. During a terrible storm and not only are they charging to much (roughly 100.00; 2 queens) they do not find it necessary to comfort their guests in any way, shape or form. She did not offer anything; I had to ask about the breakfast and interrupt her call and I had to ask if they had coffee - she said no and handed no packets to brew. I felt bad for the folks with children that may have needed to eat due to everything closed - like not even a packaged muffin - this is a property with zero warmth and the opposite of what an innkeeper should be. …
I’m usually not the type of guy to badmouth or share negative experiences with others, but this has to be told. First of all I arrived with a pre-booked room through an online travel site but unfortunately phone was dead when checked in. I was then told by the unknowledgeable and unexperienced night auditor (no disrespect) that my price would be compensated from the $91 that I was told to pay which included a $25 deposit that would be refunded at the conclusion of my stay. I walked in the room to see the AC cover just laying on the floor, extremely disgusting filth over appliances and nightstand, a dirty tub, and last but not least a foul order of old hot dog water when I opened microwave to reheat leftovers from dinner which totally ruined my appetite. My significant other and I decided to just end this catastrophe by checking out early and calling our date night quits at about 6 AM thinking that we would at least receive our $25 deposit back. Well guys retrieving the deposit I was promised totally took us into a crash course when we were told by the front desk worker the following shift that EVERYTHING we were told from previous employee was untrue and that a room that I could’ve sworn that I got for a deal of $49 a night plus tax turned into a total steal of $91. Well you married people this caused an unhappy wife if you know what that did to date night. Smh.…
Staff was extremely rude upon check in and then again at check out. Had to ask twice for receipt. TV channel list is totally wrong and horrible water pressure, even at 9pm. Not worth price paid, staff has no excuse for being so rude, even with covid-19 going on.
It was a convenient place to stay during this time. Easy checking in practicing social distancing. Place was clean and everything worked fine. Food was very close by with delivery or take out curbside
Refrigerator had old food items from a previous guest, I found some bed bugs on the bed sheets. If not for those 2 things I would have rated this stay much better. I thought the price was a little high for this room and the value that came with it.
