The hotel and all of its amenities are amazing, but the lines for valet and the front desk are always out of hand. I’m sure a ton of people come with day passes for the pool or use the hotel for parking in the area, but it’s still a lot.

This is the worst Marriott location I have ever stayed at. Yes, the pool is nice which is why I chose to spend my daughter’s birthday here. Beware of charges accrued during your stay. I was charged valet but did not drive, I ubered there. I was charged for drinks and food I did not eat. Also, was charged for a night I did night stay. I had to call the Marriot compliant number for the hotel to even check me out. The hotel charged my card so many times in a short period of time my bank alerted fraud. I tried on numerous occasions to speak to staff in person. I was greeted with a conceding attitude and lack of knowledge. Days later after calling the Marriott compliant line I was introduced to another unprofessional staff member named Louis in the Business department who spoke to me as if I was her subordinate. I let her talk and wanted to explain the transactions that had taken place in the order they happened. Still, I was greeted with unprofessionalism hence why I did not stay my entire time at this hotel. The pool is nice, but the hotel rooms are subpar at best, and it appears they do everything possible to squeeze every cent out of your money even if you did not use it. The floors while sleeping at night reek of odd smells etc. I had better experiences at other Marriot locations in the USA and outside. Again, check your charges while staying at this location.

We are loving our mini vacation to this oasis in the city. We chose this property because of the awesome Lazy River. Very refreshing! Drinks are delicious! Friendly welcoming staff. The M Club is open until 11pm however breakfast vouchers are given out for the Texas Tea (Starbucks) that’s located in the lobby of your status gets you a free breakfast. You receive breakfast item and a Venti Latte or any other coffee or tea drink. I chose the breakfast croissant which is bacon egg and cheese. Not as delicious as the usual big breakfast prior to COVID but hit the hungry belly spot. Back to the M Club, you will find an espresso/coffee machine and several packaged snacks like chips, granola bars, Famous Amos cookies. Also canned sodas and bottles of water. We took a taxi from the airport and it was $60. I’ll Uber back and hope it’s a little less expensive. We were given a corner room. I tried to use my SNAs for a suite which was accepted however when we arrived at 1:30pm no suites were available. Front deck manager told me my SNAs will be redeposited back into my account after check out so I’m hoping that will happen. We are on the 14th floor and this isn’t high enough to not hear street noise. There is major construction going on across the street from the pool deck. It really did not spoil our experience in the relaxing lazy river.

I really did not enjoy my stay. The staff and management made it very hard to relax. I will choose another hotel. I didnt like the pool chair policy. I think its outrageous the prices they charge too.

We LOVE this hotel and have been coming here for years. It is by far the best hotel in Houston. The staff have been nothing but welcoming, and the overall experience is just incredible. My only regret is that we can't come more frequently, we love it here!
