CDC protocolos are not followed by guests. The staff that did my check out was not friendly and I did not feel welcomed also the cleaners come to my room before check out hours informing that she was there to clean it.

With a recent opportunity to have another staycation in Dallas, I decided to go to the Hilton Anatole as I have had 2 great past experiences and I wanted to come back for more. Just like the previous time I got offered an upgrade to a deluxe room before check-in. Having a great time with the upgrade last time I went for it. I also enjoyed selecting my room. Upon arriving the staff was very friendly and provided the hospitality Hilton is known for. The room was spotless upon entering and everything was in very good condition. I really liked my view even if it wasn’t the downtown skyline too. The bed was also extremely comfortable and clean. Just like last time I also realIy enjoyed waking up to a view all around me. I was happy to see Media Grill reopened too and the food was great. All the staff I interacted with after check-in were also amazing, Larry and Sheila especially provided amazing service at breakfast too, better than any other hotel I’ve been to as a matter of fact. The grounds are also beautiful and spotless, and they also provide plenty of elevators in both buildings. I did have my keycard deactivate on me one time, but the front desk re-activated it without hesitation, and were apologetic about the situation. This hotel has definitely become my go-to hotel for staycations, and I always recommend this hotel when I am asked where to stay in Dallas. If you are looking for a hotel in Dallas I highly recommend the Hilton Anatole, you will not be disappointed!

This staff here is amazing Rihanna at the front desk was very professional and accommodating during my visit. I’m stay at this hotel every time I come to Dallas to visit family. This trip was due to my evacuation from nola. I felt at home here rooms are spacious and clean. Hilton always takes great care of its team members during these times. Thanks for the great hospitality.

Subject: Outrageously negative experience at Hotel Anatole Dallas Texas, over Labor Day weekend Good afternoon. I am writing this email after repeated attempts this morning to get thru to an attendant or operator by calling your hotel directly with no success. I will have our attorney contact you if I don’t receive appropriate follow up in a timely manner.  My husband and I were guests at your hotel, Hotel Anatole Dallas Texas on Saturday & Sunday nights over the 2021 Labor Day weekend. To say that the experience was sub par and an extreme let down would be a drastic disservice to our experience. When we checked in, we “opted in” for housekeeping service (after having to upgrade our room to a tower room once we went up to our room in the atrium and discovered it was old and the A/C appeared to not be functioning correctly). Again, we “opted in” via text message as a reply to a text we received. On Sunday, we were out of our room for approximately 5 hours and never received maid service. After 3 requests, we finally received the towels, coffee and toiletries we requested. On Saturday, when we arrived at approximately 2:00, we visited the water park area and walked around for over 30 minutes searching for a chair. This was a letdown as we had called prior to our arrival several days before asking if we could reserve chairs and were told only cabanas could be reserved. While searching, we encountered multiple roped off areas with chairs that said “reserved”.  We were also extremely disappointed with the food options. We never would’ve booked a stay at a hotel with only one available restaurant. Nowhere did we see any indication the hotel did not have a room service availability on your website. The above mentioned, were only inconveniences. Our reason for this email is as follows... Upon check in with the valet, we indicated that our vehicle had damage done to it the last time we had used Valet at a Casino and we had just gotten it back from having the front spoiler repaired so we would appreciate extra caution. The vehicle was parked where it was visible to door and valet and it was there when we came out on Sunday to take it out. Upon our arrival back Sunday at approximately 4-4:30, we once again watched to be sure vehicle would be parked in a safe place by valet. At this time, hotel and valet were not busy or overwhelmed in any way.  At approximately 11:30 p.m, we were awoken by front desk calling to inform us the valet was out doing a periodic check of vehicles in a distant parking area and observed our vehicle in the process of being stolen. Drivers side window was broken out and bottom of front dashboard had been stripped out and was lying on floor when valet observed what was happening. The paint on drivers side door and rear view mirror was also damaged. The perpetrators, driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk fled. Front desk indicated to us that they would place a call to Dallas PD so that by the time my husband could dress and come downstairs, we might have them available to take a report. Upon my husbands arrival downstairs, he saw our vehicle had been moved to in front of hotel door and head of security, Roderick Culver informed my husband that he, my husband, should fill out a report and leave it with hotel. This made zero sense as my husband didn’t know anything other than what front desk had told me on the phone. I went downstairs and encountered a very rude and unprofessional Mr Culver. He indicated front desk was wrong and the police would not come take a report. He, Mr Culver, had ZERO understanding of what had occurred and that the hotel valet had stopped the theft and moved our vehicle. Mr Culver kept saying the hotel wouldn’t do anything and we should fill out a report to damage done to our vehicle in parking lot. Once I was able to get him to understand that hotel valet knew the specifics and we knew nothing..he began to backtrack in his previous comments. The entire time he was rude, dismissive, condescending and extremely unprofessional. I asked repeatedly WHY our vehicle (a 2021 Dodge Challenger wide body skat pak valued at approximately $72,000) would have been moved from the close to door parking space of valet vehicles where it was parked at 4:30 to the outermost location it was parked when valet encountered it attempting to be stolen. He had no answers for me. I suggested that it was moved there to make it easier to be stolen as the valet had mentioned to my husband that this was a regular occurrence (a black Ram TRX truck had been either stolen or attempted to be stolen 2 nights previous out of valet parking). We also spoke with a guest who was checking in and overheard who told us her husband(an officer who carries his gun always), had observed on Saturday at approximately 2:30 p.m a person in a black hoodie with a ski mask walking in valet parking area. Due to the heat, this sent a warning to him and he followed suspect who he observed try to enter his vehicle (a grey/silver pickup truck) The guest unholstered his weapon and yelled at perpetrator who fled. The guest observed a white Dodge vehicle a few spaces from their vehicle whose window was also broken out and laying on ground and whose key codes and other electronics had been disabled in an attempted theft that day. Apparently, day or night, your hotel has a vehicle theft issue and your valet parking areas are NOT being properly surveilled or protected. Though, the valet tag states the valet company does not have any responsibility, there is by law, an expectation that reasonable effort will be made to protect vehicles in their care. Back to our experience..WHY was our vehicle moved from its original location that we observed in parked in to a distant/outermost parking area later on at some point Sunday??  Upon learning that this had happened, we were forced to pack up our belongings and check out as we couldn’t leave our vehicle with a missing window and electronics hanging down on passenger side floor. We then learned, upon asking to speak to management, that there wasn’t ANY!! The front desk clerk, Mr. Kevin Gomez, WAS the ONLY “management”. HOW is this possible/acceptable at a 4 star resort on a holiday weekend?? My husband is a City Manager of a city in Grayson County and has been an essential worker with no time off during this pandemic. These 2 nights/3 days away were SUPPOSED to be a much needed time of rest and relaxation. As detailed, it was anything but. Mr Watson, the Hotel Anatole has a CLEAR and REPEATED problem with theft and attempted thefts of vehicles in your parking lots with valet service being no exception. Mr Roderick Culver is a very poor representation of what SHOULD represent safety and professionalism of the Hilton resorts. Having no management onsite (I personally worked in the hotel business for many years in Anaheim CA across from the Disneyland resort) in a luxury resort such as yours on a holiday weekend is very concerning. With the vehicle theft issues your resort is experiencing..especially from your valet areas..being as frequent as they apparently are, it SHOULD be a priority to you to examine what procedures are in place and to make changes such as better lighting and security cameras. We had a vehicle attempted to be stolen at the New York New York Hotel in Las Vegas years ago and that hotel bent over backwards to make it right. Your hotel, on the other hand, was unprofessional, unhelpful, and just plain rude and incompetent.  I would appreciate further investigations into WHY our vehicle was moved from the spot we observed it being parked on Sunday at approximately 4:30 pm to the distant/outermost location where it was found by the valet attempting to be stolen?? I would also appreciate confirmation that you have addressed Me Roderick Culver’s unprofessional and condescending attitude with us as well as an explanation as to why he was not informed as to what had occurred. Should you desire to have the contact information of the guest, who spoke with me regarding their experience with their vehicle attempting to be stolen on Saturday and their observation of the white Dodge parked close by to them whose window was broken out and electronics disabled, I have their contact/cell phone information. Once it is brought to your attention that you have a clear and frequent problem with vehicle thefts in your parking lots and valet areas, it SHOULD be of the utmost importance to follow up and make necessary changes to ensure as much safety to guests vehicles as possible..cameras, improved lighting and updated procedures at the least. A hotel chain such as the Hilton hotels, should value their reputation and understand the importance of maintaining trust and integrity with its guests. We have stayed and parked our vehicles at the Gaylord Texan probably a dozen times in the last few years with zero incidents. We have also stayed all over Vegas in the past 30 years and only had the one mentioned incident. I insist that I get an answer as to WHY my vehicle was moved to that distant parking area AFTER it was originally parked in a close and visible spot at 4:30 Sunday afternoon. I also request that an investigation be done into the employees of Towne Park Valet who you contract to determine if your respected (daily) attempts at vehicle thefts have been assisted in any way by their employees.  I will wait 7 days before contacting our attorney to take further action.  Thank you

This was the most unorganized hotel I've ever experienced. Our room was in the Atrium. We parked at the entrance only to be told by the person at the desk that we needed to register at the tower desk. We drove to the tower entrance & registered. Informed that our room was in the Atrium so we returned to that entrance. There was NO luggage carts at that entrance & no bell hops to assist. No offer to retrieve a cart for us. I walked to the Tower desk to get a cart. When I asked why there wasn't any desk person or carts at the Atrium, I was informed that it wasn't staffed. Really?? The room was nice, bed comfortable, mostly clean. The base of the toilet, wall side, was dirty with urine. I can understand paying to park if it were a garage, but uncovered parking lot?? We did get a reduction in price to $11/day. The restaurants & cafes were outrageously priced! Coffee $4, iced tea $5!!! I know the organization has limited hotels that can accommodate large groups, but HILTON has just overpriced itself!
