The Hotel Portmeirion is a romantic seaside resort on the coast of Snowdonia in Wales. It was opened by Clough Williams-Ellis in 1926. Noel Coward wrote Blithe Spirit here in 1941. Patrick McGoohan filmed More The Prisoner here in 1966-67. In early September Portmeirion hosts Festival No6, a unique celebration of arts and music. Lovely views, great location but awfully slow service! Not even service with a smile! Location and architecture wise great! Service etc pretty dreadful! Prices are pretty reasonable. Just need to improve the service; please!

Sorry I was a guest to, and our room was a double. I suspect the hotel may not accommodate family rooms, but accommodation can be given regards flats or apartments within the grounds.

We stayed in the village rooms! They were amazing! We went to the main hotel for breakfast which was in easy walking distance from or accommodation! Whatever tho you decide am sure you will have a wonderful time as we did xx
