#2 of 3 Speciality lodging in Achnasheen
Peaceful and intimate, Kinlochewe Club Site is set at the foot of the rugged slopes of Beinn Eighe, at the end of a beautiful drive along Glen Docherty from Achnasheen. The caravan park is a magical oasis where the world slows down to walking pace and you with it - glittering lochs, lush woodland and mountains provide a paradise for both climbers and walkers alike.

Made to feel very unwelcome on arrival, very rude management and extremely unhelpful. Don’t deserve caravan and motor home club accreditation. Left early. Avoid and travel thirty miles further to Sands caravan site where you will get lovely staff, great facilities and a warm welcome.

Stayed here twice in the past few months. Facilities are spotlessly clean and of a good standard. Pitches are large. The surrounding scenery is stunning. Not many kids running around. Plenty places to go for walks. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Will definitely return.

Room Tip: Best evening sun would be pitches on the right hand side as you enter.

This caravan club site is situated in beautiful scenery and the facilities are really well kept but as caravan club members I just don’t feel like this site is for us. It advertises children welcome but the general feeling we got was children tolerated. There’s no designated place for kids to play safely which means they tend to go anywhere and get on people’s nerves. The wardens had to tell some of the older children off for riding bikes and although our son too young for that it just seemed a let down at that park. We’re always on at kids to get off the screens but the children aren’t accommodated for at this site. I’m currently writing this from another caravan club site where children have a designated place to play. This keeps them safe but it also means the people who don’t really like to holiday with kids playing can choose the quiet pitches at the other side of the park. It is very well situated for Gairloch or loch Marie and the positive centre at Ben eighe is very close with great walks
