We stayed here on our way up to Gairloch to get married. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean and hospitality is second to none. The room was huge, with double aspect windows through which we watched the sunset and deer on the horizon. Food in the restaurant is a little limited at the moment, but totally understandable due to Covid and doesn't detract from the stay at all. Breakfast is highly recommended with an excellent choice of cooked and continental. Such wonderful hospitality and we would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends.
Felt spoilt from the minute we walked in the door. Very comfortable room. Staff exemplary, nothing too much trouble. Good location for travelling. Attadale garden worth a visit. The pass over to Applecross amazing views travel back the coast route to complete the beautiful scenery.
Stated 3 nights in this beautifully decorated hotel , Large comfortable room and facilites. Log fire in spaious reception/ sitting area. Excellet bar food( due to Covid Restaurant not being used ) and breakfast. Staff efficient and most helpful. Will definitely return.
We enjoyed our stay here. The room was large and well furnished. Towels and linen lovely quality. Shower was very small though. We would have expected a welcome treat ie biscuit in the room but that’s a small detail. We only saw two staff who were both very friendly, efficient and welcoming. Dinner and breakfast were good. A touch on the pricey side but a grand old building well worth preserving.
We used the facilities in the hotel, whilst stsaying in the adjacent bunkhouse (meals, packed lunches and bar). Very high quality indeed with roaring log fires in the main rooms. As always, friendly staff are the number one priority, and we had a warm welcome and a thoroughly enjoyable few days. Service was very good. The hotel is located conveniently close to the railway station, and near the junction for roads to Lochcarron / Kyle of Lochalsh, Gairloch / Ullapool and Dingwall / Inverness. We shall return.
