At the end of a 13 mile single track road you come to this campsite. The views are to die for, can't say more on that. The site was clean and well kept, with the facilities in the same vein. The shop was well stocked with almost anything you would need, and the restaurant just off site had a varied menu with ample portions
A good site if a bit out of the way. Facilities are great. Peace and quiet! My only complaint is that if you say there is Wi-Fi it should have it all over the site not just at a seat outside the toilet block.
After a drive through some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable it is hard to imagine how any campsite is going to match the experience. However, this site on the edge of the sea with burns running through, the warmest of welcomes, great facilities and a very well-stocked shop delivers mightily. Achiltibuie, as the guides say, is not a place that you come to by accident but it is well worth the effort for the beauty of the isolation. Havy rain meant that the gentle burns turned into frothing torrents during our stay but come equipped for West Coast weather and you will get full enjoyment from this beatiful part of the UK.
Arrived in a storm and family helped get me settled into my tent and from then on I had a fabulous week . Every facility was first class and felt as new. The shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. Everything was regularly cleaned . The pub was great with superb food and atmosphere and takeaway meals were very good value Staff and family could not have been more friendly and helpful.
This was a lovely little campsite just off the north coast 500. The views were spectacular overlooking the ocean. The owner was so friendly and very helpful with anything we needed. Facilities were open and were great, included toilets and showers. All in all a great stay here!
