This place is a complete rip off, dirty, understaffed, over priced. Worst family holiday we have ever been on. We paid just as much as we would to go abroad, no signal, No wifi, everything was booked up. Excrement in the pool, the list goes on and on. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I stayed from the 15th of October to the 18th, every night there was loud music and shouting coming from a caravan close to us. I phoned security a few times to let them know but nothing was done. I ended up leaving really early on the Monday because i couldn't get any sleep.

Stayed with my mum and two adult sisters who booked privately for the last weekend of half term. Whilst we weren't down here to make the most of the facilities we did head to the arcade and to bugsys for bingo. It's so overcrowded for what is here and you have to queue for everything. Now I know it's everyone's own option to wear masks and social distance but there was no hand sanitiser anywhere. The food in the mash and barrel was the worst I've had at a Haven site, but the staff were lovely. When we went to bingo the bar staff in Bugsys were the rudest of any Haven site I've been to. Whilst this wasn't my main holiday of the year, and it was more about spending time with my sisters. It did remind me why I don't come to Devon cliffs anymore and that I shall be continuing my holidays at Havens Doniford Bay where staff are amazing!

We have been to haven for over 10 years and sadly it may be our last due to the shocking cleanliness of the site and caravan. We arrived at 13:30 so decided to go straight to the arcade before we received the alert at 14:00 to say that we can now check in at the caravan which was 205x at Juniper close. The caravan was sealed and marked as cleaned, this truly was not the case as the caravan was disgusting with dead flies on the floor and human hair over the shower floor, toilet and over the kitchen tops. We complained and were ready to go home. On complaining to haven they dealt with it all within an hour and upgraded us free of charge to a platinum 3 bedroom caravan so this is the reason I have given them 3 out of 5 or they would have had a zero rating. Even this caravan had a sticky floor. On the first few days, the park itself was dirty with marks all over the glass windows/doors and rubbish on the floor but this was eventually cleaned up. The entertainment was good as always and you had to use the app to order snacks and drinks which we didn’t mind because it saved you lining up at the bar. This went well until the second night when all of the kids drinks ended up being sold out so the kids had to have water. Sadly we will not be in any rush to go back to Haven having chosen them for our annual holiday for over 10 years.

We booked a Mon- Fri break, however come home a day early because we had a rubbish time & couldn't stand to stay in that filthy van any longer. The caravan was disgusting. When we entered our "prestige" caravan we found dirty floors, the worktops & cupboard doors were filthy, the oven and hob disgusting. The fridge smelt like someone had died. There were dirty plates & bowls in the cupboards, filthy cutlery in drawers. 2 of the dining chairs broken, missing & holey curtains in the living room, grubby bathrooms, one with a mouldy shower. There was a lot litter underneath the caravan also. This was definitely not what we were expecting to find & are very disappointed with our holiday. Who ever was supposed to of cleaned of van needs the sack. The site itself is very overcrowded and the caravans are all on top of each other & shoved into every space possible. Everything on site was over priced & a complete rip off. Unfortunately due to the filthy van we had no choice but to eat out everyday as didn't want to cook In that filthy kitchen (it cost us over £200 to eat on site for 3 days - thats just for 2 adults , a drink & main course each). We used the burger king, papa Jon's & mash and barreI, all were average but not brilliant, we also had a meal at the South beach cafe which I would not recommend at all, its like a night club and not a restaurant, really loud, bumping music, no atmosphere, very expensive, burnt tasteless food and poor service. Will never return to Devon Cliffs or come on a haven holiday again!
