Stayed for one night with son on a mountain biking trip. Location can’t be beat in a hip neighborhood with great food and drink all around. Very cool yard with a firepit, which we didn’t use, but saw others Using from afar. Private bunk bed was very clean, simple and no hassle. The sink is a nice feature. Fun dog park across street. Great urban neighborhood vibe.

I've stayed at the crash pad two times and have loved it. Whenever I come to chattanooga to climb or visit, this is the place I will always book at. If you're looking for great staff, great location and great rooms, the crash pad has it all.

Perfect for solo travellers just wanting to “crash” and have a hostel experience. The place was clean and the staff was helpful. It has an over-all modern vibe to it which relaxes a weary traveller. I had a private bunk bed / room with a minimalistic ambiance; perfect for reflection.

I love this place. The staff is great. It's a great place to meet people with common interests especially with regard to climbing, hiking, biking and rafting. The modifications they've made by creating entirely separate rooms which have openable windows for ventilation made me very comfortable staying there despite the annoyance of COVID.

The Crash Pad is one of my favorite stays in the country. Friendly, clean, various choices in quarters, outdoor fire pit, and next to the most excellent restaurant I've ever been to, The Flying Squirrel. This was my fourth stay here and I will be back as often as possible. As a side note, I am 59 years old. Hostels aren't just for young people!
