The views are nice and can be deceiving from the website. I booked through VRBO which has proven to make this process even more difficult to fix. We got there early and were told that we could check in. So, at 11:00a.m. we tried and were told they were getting to our room next. At 4:00p.m. we had to wait in an hour long line to finally get our keys. Upon check in the room was dingy and smelled musty, and had mold on the wall in the bathroom. The popcorn ceiling has a ton of water damage as well and the popcorn would fall to the floor all day long. I emailed the VRBO owner and was told someone would get back to me. The next day I called the front desk to inquire about a move and was moved to a nicer room with mold only visible in the bathroom ceiling. Paint cans were left in the room and it was clear that there was visible mold and painted over mold. At this point, should I ask to be moved to another moldy room?? We checked out early and asked for reimbursement for the entire trip. I was then told that since I did not book through the hotel there was nothing they could do for me. For the safety of your health, I would not stay in this hotel. There is a clear ventilation issue and they do not care to explore it, just simply paint over the problem.

The staff were very professional and friendly. My room had a great view of the beach and ocean. There were plenty of amenities were available and other sites and activities were close by. I would definitely stay again.

Great week trip. We loved the hula/fire shows and DJ. The staff has been kind! Special thanks to Eva Johnson for her kindness and helping my kids with the arcade, Scott Pickurell for his kindness and helpfulness, and Meredith for Always having a smile on her face and taking extra steps to get my kids chocolate milk, and overall kindness! The staff is what makes this resort awesome.

The room appeared to be clean. Quite. We were unaware that using the parking garage now cost an extra fee. Room & furnishings could use an update. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the pools, hot tubs and shows that were preformed. The DJ was so much fun. The crowd had great energy. Security was present at all times, which made me feel safe when I went out at night to smoke. The location is convenient and easy to navigate. My family and I will return to the Landmark Resort.

Hotel is pretty old and room is tiny . Bathroom doesn’t have fan system also very narrow. I checked in online but I still had to wait in lobby in a line for about 30 min. It worked fine for first time but I won’t stay there again

I stayed at the ocean escape at Landmark which is located across the street. I booked an oceanfront front 2 bedroom suite. One of the bedrooms had no door. It was not what I expected. It was not oceanfront. It was a street view. I paid over $1000 for chipped paint on walls, dirty towels. The bed sheets were not cleaned. Hair and lent on sheets. I will take my money elsewhere

Our stay was very pleasant even with construction. Some areas were closed with obvious work updating the resort. Our room should be on the list for updates, but it was pleasant with an ocean view from both balconies.

We stayed the end of may -the first week of June for 5 days. We stayed in an oceanfront double bed balcony suite on the 5th floor. (Also had other family on the 15th same room cat.)The hotel was ok. The rooms were ok but the beds were horrible! Lumpy and seemed to be there since they opened. One bed was broken when we arrived. It was leaning so much I couldn’t lay in it. Luckily there was only two of us so one slept on the pull out wall bed. There was no sleeper sofa as stated. So glad we didn’t plan more people in the room. The layout was different then pics. Also it was kinda dated. Clean but dated. The ac didn’t work hardly blew warmish air in the front part of the hotel room where the pull out bed and sofa were. The bedroom ac was cold. They were doing construction while there and the construction people blocked our ocean view a few times. Made lots of noise in the room next to us. We lost hot water a day and had to take cold showers. Over all the hotel was ok. Pools were great, but there was no water park as advertised as it was under construction. The view to the ocean from pool was nice! And from our balcony when it wasn’t obstructed. The beach was nice. The pool had some hula dancer entertainment a couple nights of the week. The one restaurant open had a small menu but decent food. The staff friendly. They do charge for parking which is across the street from hotel in a garage. Probably would not stay here again as the beds were horrible, broken and old. The other room our family was staying in was actually dirty with bloody or something resembling blood hand prints on shower door and beds horrible. But beautiful view from 15th floor. Also the kitchens in the suites are nice enough. We didn’t report any of this as we figured they could do nothing being they were u set construction and didn’t seem to be using all the rooms. If the hot water would have been more then a day I would have reported.

I enjoyed my stay other than a few issues with the hotel staff over pricing and the first room was not very good the second room was very nice other than the air conditioning wasn’t working in the living room but Scott with Maintenance came within minutes and replaced the unit and the room was cool very quickly. I also could find a cord to work the room telephone but Scott from Maintenance again was there within minutes and fixed the issue immediately. The room was very nice and clean and would love to have this room again when I return and I hope Scott is still working just there because I know he will fix it promptly. Sherman and others at the front desk were very helpful and I will definitely stay again.
