Alittle Pricey, but a lot to do! The maid service could have been alittle better, I like for my room to be cleaned and refreshed daily!! Had to ask for them to come in and vacuum, and bring toilet paper, instead of them coming in everyday and just refreshing everything and making up the beds! I like to be pampered and taken care of when I’m on vacation!!!!
Not sure but my room possibly had bugs biting me almost every night . Didn't see any bugs so not sure what they were I stayed 4 nights got new bites each night. Pools were nice location is great . Rooms in this bldg are a little out dated clean except nooks and crannies
Sailfish building looks like it hasn’t been updated in 20-30 years. Definitely not worth the premium pricing for one elevator, old furniture, unclean rooms, and non-existent staff! Breaker’s needs to either cut pricing or invest in updating the property a ton
Our family has stayed here for years and as always our stay is enjoyable. Price has increased in the past couple of years dramatically though. Im assuming its to make up for money lost during covid. Wish there was more house keeping offered
Wouldn't recommend this place. Room were dirty and not worth the price to stay at this resort. Friends had to have Orkin exterminator come and spray room. Seen cockroches in stairwell and laundry room. Not worth the price!
The Breakers Myrtle Beach has it all! When planning our 5th trip back to the area I considered other Resorts, but my husbands reply was, "the breakers has it all, what more do you need?" We will be booking again! We love the new pool area and construction is finished!
11 day stay We have now stayed at the Breakers 4 times. Two Thanksgiving stays and two summer stays. This was our first time staying in the Palms building. The walls in the Palms building were very thin. We were able to hear a lot of hallways noise, nosies and conversations from the rooms beside us, and the elevator every time it dinged. The rooms were clean and updated. The building were always clean. I was disappointed that the pool in the Palms building was not heated. Last year when we stayed, (during June) we found out that the pool in the Palms building was heated. We loved it. That is one reason be booked the Breakers again was for the heated pool. This year the pool was not heated. It was freezing cold. When I asked about the heat and the pool I was told it is only heated seasonally. Nowhere online does it say the pool is only heated seasonally and it was heated last June. I was very disappointed in this.…
The room was dirty, full of bugs and the bed was like sleeping on the floor. Could see outside through both doors ( bug problem ) only chair in room was cracked and dirty. Fan in bathroom however no switch to turn on ? I have pictures of everything so I look forward to your response and follow up
Father’sDay weekend trip we enjoyed our selves with time on beach and in pool area. Staff was good from the front desk at checkin to when I called down for additional towels a wash cloths. In future this place will be on my list for booking
Worst "resort" ever. Do you enjoy doing your own dishes? Wiping the surfaces in your own room? Throwing cigarette butts out of the kiddie pool before your child can grab and eat them? Or how about being offered to go somewhere for a 2 hour open house, just to get some vouchers for local attractions even though you already shelled out like 1800$ for this stay? Well, you're in luck. The Breakers exists, for some reason. Housekeeping never made our beds in a 5 day stay. Never cleared dishes and had to be asked to take out our trash. The pools are dirty. The elevators are slow and there are only 3 of them for a 16 story hotel. The parking garage is 7 stories of narrow hallways, with no indication of whether there even are spots open. Can you imagine crawling through a 7story parking garage for 20 minutes before coming to the conclusion that there's no open spaces? With toddlers in the back seat raising hell? We hated our stay. This is an expensive garbage dump. …
