We had an amazing stay with Ed and his pups! Room was exactly as described and Ed was such a gracious host giving us the history of his beautiful home as well as any nearby attractions. I’m picky with little details such as nice bath towels and really good toilet paper, and Ed

The Parador Inn is housed in a beautiful historic mansion and is furnished nicely. There is plenty of parking. The breakfast is not very good. Each morning we were served a small egg casserole that was only ok and you could get a slice of a fresh bread like nut or date, from a

I'm sorry you did not care for the "egg casserole", the only thing I can come up with is I have recently been experimenting with a new quiche recipe and maybe that was it. I never serve the same entree two days in a row and do not know what you are referring to by "Each morning", I definitely did not serve it twice. I am happy with the flavor, but was unhappy with it's consistency and have figured out how to fix that. I do not know who you are, so I am not sure what room you were in. It sounds like you were in the mansion, none of the mansion rooms have a space heater in the bathroom, both carriage house rooms has a built in space heater because the living spaces in those rooms have a Tpac unit (like you find in a regular hotel that really doesn't warm the bathroom). I do keep the mansion on the cooler side so guests can enjoy the fireplaces that are extremely popular. If I had the mansion at say 70 degrees, as soon as the fireplace is turned on it would make the room unbearable. I apologize for your displeasure. Sincerely, ed

Went to Pittsburgh with friends for a weekend of football and fun. We stayed at the Parador Inn located a few blocks from the stadium, casino, great bars and restaurants. This was our second time staying at the Parador and we loved it just as much as the first time. We stayed in

We enjoyed our stay at the Parador. It’s a beautiful old mansion. The rooms are spacious, and the gas fireplaces make the rooms warm and inviting in the chillier months. The location is excellent. We loved walking to restaurants, and the T. Breakfast was disappointing. It

I apologize my breakfast did not please you. I try and serve it hot, that's why at check-in I ask for the breakfast time preferred. I don't know who you are so I can't look back to see what I served to possibly improve it. Guest feed back is very important to me and I appreciate you taking the time to point this out. I know some people do not like animals and as you said, that's why they are not permitted in the mansion. We do exit through the dining room to go for our walks. Good point about them going to the table seeking attention, I will watch that closer, thank you for pointing out that you didn't like it. One thing I would like to point out on your comment about the dog smell in my kitchen, the dogs are not permitted in my hot kitchen where food is prepared, they are only permitted in the cold kitchen I store refrigerated items and and wash dishes. I don't want people reading this review to leave with the impression my dogs are permitted around food prep. Thank you for your feedback, ed

Just returned from a weekend at "The Parador Inn" and we enjoyed it. Our host Ed was fantastic, kind, helpful and a great breakfast cook. A GREAT location with included parking and wonderful restaurants close-by. We were in town for football and Heinz Field is a very short walk

I have no connection with the B&B other than staying there for a weekend in February. It was a wonderful place. I believe we payed around $180 a night. It may be more expensive in October because it is football season.
