We decided to have a quick getaway with kids and my parents. Absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Waratah which is really suited to a family dynamic. We took our boat out for a joy ride down the beautiful shoalhaven river past the zoo and picked up some oysters and prawns at the co op on the river!! The kangaroos on the property roam freely, it us majestic and the views are breathtaking. The owners Alan ans Claire made us feel so welcome ans safe. Thank you I will be going back!!

We stayed at the end of Feb 2018. We had the whole place to ourselves, except for the owners. Im not sure if the owners had been having people booked to stay for awhile as the place felt a little neglected. My hubby & I had a studio that felt & looked (cobwebs, dusty, broken tiles in bthrm) like it needed some freshening & TLC. Could be that the owners were concentrating on building there beautiful new home. All in all the location is a slice of heaven, just some attention needed to updating to freshen it up.

Sorry you were not happy with the accommodation. The property had been closed for a while and agree the bathroom tiles are cracked. Thank you for your feedback

There wasn't a lot of choice - but happily surprised. Large and clean. There were two bed rooms downstairs and another upstairs (no door though) big rooms each with ensuite. Common dinning kitchen and living. The view was brilliant. We arrived late and didn't see much but woke up to 50 or more kangaroos in front of the cabin. The kids were amazed. On the down side - it is a little remote, 12 minutes to downtown Nowra. And there was a small section of dirt road about 150m nothing a sedan couldn't handle. Oh your on tank water - although we didn't notice. Now did I mention the kangaroos? Big area outside to walk and kick a ball - mind the too poo. A nice river view. Did I mention the kangaroos...

We advertise clearly that we are about 12 minutes from Nowra. Some find this too remote - we love it! Thank you

Stayed here in March and just booked another weekend with friends. We have been visitors to the river for over 15 years and got tired of camping in boganville down river. This place is a little slice of paradise. Private boat ramp for skiers perfect, private jetty perfect, accommodation like staying in your grandmas house...cosy, comfortable and total relaxation. Caught a big flathead! Loved the warm bedding provided. Kitchen is a little old and tired but very well equipped and fishing is great! Owners are delightful. Safe and great for kids in front of lodge and roo visitors daily, with a big area of land and great bushwalking up on the property. Totally loved this place and it just made me feel relaxed as soon as I got there. Can't wait to go back!

We have just enjoyed a fabulous weekend in the 3 lodges - 15 family members in total including children from 9 to 17. Each lodge can sleep 6 in quite spacious, clean & very comfortable accommodation.. We took boats and kayaks and were able to launch these at the private boat ramp. We spent the entire weekend bike riding, jumping into the river from the pontoon/jetty, fishing from the bank and boats, watching the waterskiiers/wakeboarders coming and going and generally relaxing. A perfect location and great accommodation for a family weekend away. Will definitely be returning.
