The outside light was on right outside our room ALL NIGHT. The curtains aren’t block out at all and the bed is 1 metre from the window so it felt like daylight all night long and made sleeping next to impossible. I told Waves reception on check-out and she didn’t have a clue but said she’d ask maintenance (no apology). 48 hours after I checked out and handed the keys to reception I received a text stating my credit card had been charged $51 for losing a key. They did eventually refund this after I explained I’d handed both back at check out but receiving this msg and charge was a huge insult simply because they couldn’t find a key 2 days later! They didn’t even apologise for the accusation. A simple check of security cameras at the time of check out would have shown we’d handed both keys back. The rooms are nice and clean and location is fantastic but at $200 per night it’s just not worth it.…
This is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed! Check in was a breeze with very friendly staff of which nothing was too much trouble. Great location, comfortable beds, clean and tidy and a friendly staff. what more could you want?
Stayed for one night. Great location. Walk right to the shops and straight onto the beach and not the busy end so you have your space. Easy to check in next door, parking right outside your room. Room was small, but was very clean and had everything that you want including kitchenette. Thankyou for the great service from the ladies at the reception desk, in calling me to return and item I had left behind.
On our second night here today Barb is a great asset to the motel, lovely lady and more than happy to help. With any questions or if you need anything like new towels, Thanks very much Barb and the Hibiscus/Waves team!
Handy for that road trip as you can park right outside your front door. Central, so easy to walk to restaurants etc. Very friendly staff at Waves where you check in. Don’t forget to check what time Waves shut! Clean.
