From the time we arrived, we felt very looked after. The staff were so attentive, especially Maggie. We loved the setting and the roaring open fires in every sitting room. We ate breakfast and dinner twice and both were delicious and plentiful. Thank you for an amazing stay and we very much look forward to returning soon.

My husband and I recently did a Luxury Escape 2 nights at Craigieburn. Our room was lovely in the Elms Wing leading onto the long balcony. The ensuite/bathroom was fine, no complaints. We enjoyed a welcome drink, a game of golf, dinner in the Hickory restaurant, 2 lovely buffet breakfasts and a complimentary wine tour. All in all we had a lovely short getaway at a fine old establishment that is being well maintained and looked after.

It’s a beautiful period home/property with lovely interior decor and open fire in the living rooms. It has wonderful wraparound balconies with beautiful design. Hospitality staff members are very nice & courteous. But the whole property needs lots of TLCs. The balcony needs varnishing and grills need painting. Car park is very uneven (specially for elderlies with walking difficulty). We had a room with a balcony, the room itself is rather small. The bathroom seems to have been renovated nicely, but a slightly larger wash basin and bit bigger soap dish in the shower would have been better.

As my sister and I have become enamoured with golf recently we booked a Luxury Escape 2 night 3 day golf tour to Bowral. Driving south from Sydney we played a round at Mittagong before arriving at Peppers in the late afternoon. Lovely setting, room was warm and inviting as was the numerous fireside settings where we had our welcome drinks. We played a couple rounds there and at the surrounding Mt Broughton golf club Unfortunately we had steering issues on the 2nd night rendering the car undrivable! FORTUNATELY we found the best automotive place in Bowral Highly recommend Tony & his crew from AJ Motors who spent some time diagnosing the problem and then advised us how to get the car towed home. He wouldn’t accept any payment but a slab of beer soon fixed that!! Loved the country hospitality!!! Also highly recommend Jacks Thai in Station St. Superb value packed food on a cold chilly night
