Our stay did not meet our expectations at all. The garden room was spacious, but well worn. Painted bathrooms tiles in need of a very good clean with lots of mouldy grout. Outside door not able to be opened. Bed very uncomfortable with two single beds pushed together without a topper. Service in restaurant was very poor despite three wait staff for three tables. Had to ask for drinks twice which took over 20 minutes to arrive. Purchased a fine dining package which in hindsight was more expensive than booking accommodation and dinner separately?? Access to wellness area was not available after 3pm on Sundays so we were unable to use this facility. Kids were allowed to run up and down the hallways (not entirely the hotel’s fault, but disrespectful parents). Disappointing as the gardens and public areas of the hotel are lovely.

Dont waste your money!! Stayed in upgraded Park suite, carpet was stained, bathroom old and in desperate need of updating. Both nights were woken by wedding guests after 1am, hotel staff in the night and the next day did not seem to care other than a lip service apology. My wife went to the day spa which again was tired, worn and in need of updating. Bowral is cold in winter and both the spa and the room were heated by free standing oil heaters, one of which stopped working in the middle of the second night. Room is advertised as being private with central heating.

It took 3 friends and 5 carers at home for me to get here! I hadn't really expected that on my first respite in 18 months of caring for my father, 101 years of age now, in his home, would be so full of peace and relaxation in comfort. The constant kindness and attention from staff was so appreciated. My massage from Ayan, given as a surprise from a friend in Ireland, was the best ever. Two nights were perfect for slowing down, though I found it hard to leave. The food here is so nuanced with flavour, the ambience of warm fires and soft piano music so soothing and the garden walks so enlivening and yet deepening, it's impossible not to return! Thank you all.

A beautiful old building in desperate need of a little TLC. While comfortable, our room was past it’s prime. That said the food and service was exceptional. The wellness spa was a highlight! I floated out of a Sodashi facial with my skin glowing and hubby enjoyed a massage. I’d love to go back to experience the gardens in Spring.

I’ve stayed at Milton Park countless times, but the last time was maybe 10 years ago. It was one of my favorite hotels and I was keen to bring my wife here for a weekend. Sadly it’s past it prime. It’s desperately in need of some love and care - needs a repaint, recarpet and the bathrooms are now over 20 years old. But the worst is that it’s understaffed. The staff are nice, but not well trained. Fortunately the food is absolutely excellent!

Room Tip: The heated pool was tepid and too cold to swim in and it seems they turn off the central heating...
