Comfortable, friendly and relaxed accommodation set in a peaceful Cornish village on the Lizard peninsula. Sea views from some of our bedrooms, the lounge, balcony, dining room and patio. We aim to cater for most diets - whether you like a full English, Vegetarian, Vegan or gluten free breakfast or something smaller. If you have a special diet please let us know. We also offer early breakfasts for those working, walking the nearby South West Coastpath or diving the Falmouth Bay. Evening meals are also an option but please book a few days in advance. Your pet is welcome (for a small fee), guide dogs stay for free and our shingle beach is dog friendly all year. Please do not let your dog on the bed - thank you. We also accept cats and parrots! Free wifi is available.

A friend and I recently stayed here as part of our South West Coast Path walk and really appreciated our time here. After accidentally walking 2 miles the wrong direction away from the B and B after a 15 mile hike, Alicia and Clive were very accommodating ! Absolutely delicious vegan breakfast too - we are both vegan so were really happy to be provided for so well ! WiFi in our room was quite intermittent but definitely recommend a visit here :)

Thank you for your kind comments and we're really pleased you enjoyed your stay and breakfast. Despite having a wifi booster for the internet it is more reliable in some rooms rather than others. We don't currently have fibre optic broadband in Porthallow but one day...! :)

Very nice welcome from the hosts and we were very comforted by the COVID-19 measures that had been taken. The property is down a narrow lane but it's to be expected in rural Cornwall. The location is fantastic and we had a lovely sea view from our bedroom. I had some great banter with Clive quite a few times during our stay. he cooked absolutely fantastic breakfasts both days but I told him otherwise and we had some good laughs. We had some sensible conversations too and some of his travel stories are fascinating! I can highly recommend this B&B for hospitality, cleanliness, location and the breakfasts. Well done, other B&B's should use this one as THE one to strive for, sadly most fall well short....

Great B&B with Clive and Alicia going beyond their role for me, thank you. I had the room with a lovely view over Porthallow, and enjoyed use of the lounge with its eccentricities. For walking the SWCP excellent position with a lovely breakfast to start your day. Highly recommend with their spot on COVID-19 adherence.

Beautiful area, excellent for cycling, walking and swimming. Lovely views from my single ensuite room which was larger than I expected. Parking available at hotel or otherwise at the beach. Wi-Fi available though a little temperamental in my room. Clive and Alicia made me feel very welcome and they had done everything they could to manage the risks of Covid so I felt safe staying here. Wide choice available for breakfast and a fridge and microwave available for guests use. Excellent value for money. I had a truly lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend it.

Totally perfect B & B, perfect, cannot think of anything that could be made better. Room was lovely, everything that one needed was in it. Shower ,excellent. Breakfast, beyond ones wildest dreams. Welcome and hosts, lovely, very very warm.
