Old Temperance House is a 500 yr old property. You will receive a warm welcome in this family run bed and breakfast. We are in the centre of the square in St. Keverne, where you can observe and enjoy village life all year round. There are two pubs, Greenhouse restaurant, Post Office, Newsagent, Londis Store, nearby Roskilly's, an organic working Cornish farm famous for its ice cream.

We could not have wished for a better time away. Claire and Kevin make you feel welcome from start to finish. Our room Baileys was exceptional, clean well equipped and a lovely view of the square. Breakfast was superb. A beautiful coastline to explore.

We have stayed in the B&B previously and this time decided to stay in the cottage annex. What a great choice. Everything we needed for a weeks stay was in there. The cottage is clean, warm, comfortable with lovely touches. It’s a real home from home starting with the very ample welcome pack on arrival. If you run out of supplies, the SPAR is in the same main square as are the 2 pubs serving food if you make a snap decision to go out. Perfect stay and well worth the 5 star review

I stayed 3 nights in a wonderfully clean & comfortable room with bathroom. Kevin & Claire are superb and generous hosts, providing a great breakfast with many options. Old Temperance House is well situated, with pubs & restaurants close by. Even the coastal path is reached within minutes by foot. The Old Temperance House cannot be faulted and is extremely good value - don't miss it out when visiting Cornwall.

We have recently returned from a 5 night stay at the OTH and had a wonderful few days away. The OTH is coveniently situated on the main square in the village, a quiet and restful backwater on the Lizard. Convenience store, 2 pubs, a newsagent and restaurant are all within easy walking distance from the House and there is plenty to do and see within the locality. Kevin and Claire have been running the establishment since Feb 2017 and are most welcoming as hosts: affable and with a good knowledge of the area, they made our stay all the more enjoyable. Our room, Baileys one of 4 available, was a good size and well presented with ample space in the ensuite. Its aspect is special too as it looks directly down on the square.
