Travelodge London Hounslow is frequently lauded for its prime location, with guests appreciating its proximity to the Tube, local eateries, and Heathrow Airport. However, some guests have encountered disturbances from external noise. While the rooms garner compliments for cleanliness and comfort, their maintenance and housekeeping receive mixed reviews. The hotel's overall cleanliness and recent updates contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, though the inconsistent availability of amenities like Wi-Fi has been noted. Despite these service inconsistencies, many travelers believe the hotel offers good value and budget-friendly options.

We only wanted somewhere to stay as a base whilst we toured around London and upon arrival we had a nice welcome by manager Dean. When entering the room, we found it mostly in a clean condition other than the bathroom area. The hand soap was empty so we had to settle with the body wash provided to wash our hands.
We had the breakfast on the first night but based on the price and quality, we decided to visit the Wetherspoons round the corner for the rest of the visit, we managed to get 2 breakfasts there for the same price as one at the travelodge! The location is below the path from Heathrow, didn't bother us once we got used to it but something to consider.

Good for your basic needs.

Normally my wife, wno doesn't have a passport would drive me to the airport, but she was unwell and so I had to make other arrangements, and as my flight was so early (6am) it made sense to book a hotel. Realisiing that it was close to the tube which runs on Friday and Saturday nights, this was perfect. The only problem was when I got off the tube there was no lift! Thankfully the hotel did have one.

I have stayed at lots of different Travelodge's mostly around the West Country, and this one was pretty standard with the usual comfy bed and hot shower - and given its location, excellent sound proofing. There is a restaurant and bar onsite, but I had eaten earlier in the day and didn't want breakfast when I left at 3.30am, so I bought something en route and just ate in my room. The menu looked okay for those who can't be bothered to go out, but of course there are loads of restaurants close by if you want something different and it is a perfectly safe area to walk around at night. For me it was really just somewhere to crash before my early start the following day.

On arrival the room had a strong odour, possibly from new carpeting and/or disinfectant. There are no phones in the rooms to contact reception so you must go down every time you need something.

The wifi is expensive and overly complicated to log on. You only get two devices and the signal is so weak that it barely works at all. Don't bother with it.

The extra beds for the kids are very uncomfortable. There are no tissues or shampoo or bathmats provided. These are pretty basic things for a hotel to provide, even a budget one.

The towels had stains on them. Absolutely disgusting to think it is okay to give them out to guests. The overhead light shade in the room was FULL of dead bugs. Gross.

The hotel is very close to the train station (all steps so quite a chore with luggage) and a short walk to shops, restaurants and buses to Hampton Court Palace.

Staff were helpful and courteous. Room disappointing generally, although shower was pretty good. Singles were a very narrow split double - disabled room. No lock on bathroom, soap dispensers too low. No proper soap. Wifi was not working for me, problem not resolved during my stay. No car parking on site. Dinner - pizza not good. Guiness was not on pump, but breakfast was pretty reasonable except coffee machine out of action, orange juice watery. daytime fine, at night a bit dead and gloomy. Near to tube which was handy. Stayed there for convenience not coz its a great place to stay. Compared to Premier Inns it is somewhat poundshop. I cant fault staff they were courteous, when I could find them hehe

The hotel is a 2-3 minute walk from the underground (hounslow central station) which is on the piccadilly line. Heathrow airport is a few stops away (quite convenient) depending on the terminal you are going to or coming from.

Check in was quite fast. It took like 2 minutes to get checked in.

I got a room on the second floor facing Bulstrode rd which wasn't a busy road and so it was quiet. The windows are also sound proofed which was great! The room is also heated / has heating.

The room was clean, the bathroom also appeared new / newly renovated. There is a table / desk and a chair, actually two chairs in the room. There was also an electric water kettle and teas, coffee and sugar. They do not provide water though, but the water from the tap is clean and safe to drink. There is a small flat screen TV in the room as well with a couple of channels to watch.

There is no wardrobe for your clothes and bags, but there is a hanging bar with five hangers which you can use. The bed was nice and comfortable, big enough for two people. The bedding are changed once every 5-7 days, the towels are ok they are changed upon request so you can have them changed daily if you wanted.

WiFi is free for only 30mins everyday, otherwise you can pay 3£ for unlimited WiFi per day.

There are lots of nearby shops and restaurants to have your meals or do your shopping. There is also a bar and restaurant at the hotel itself. It is generally safe to walk even in the evenings and at night. There's construction works going on at a site just next to the hotel.

Checkout time is before noon (12pm) and its strict. You can choose to extend your checkout time to 2pm for 10£

Special thank you to Manisha, she was great!
She was at the reception and she was helpful and always smiling and friendly. She would always take care of any requests i made when i left in the mornings and she made sure they were done / provided when i came back to the room. I stayed there for two weeks and i enjoyed my stay.

We stayed here as a more cost effective option then staying within the Heathrow perimeter, it was at least £80 cheaper. It’s a few minutes walk from the tube station, but beware there are no lifts between the platform and the exit. The room was clean and big enough for our family of three. There’s an ASDA within walking distance for food/drinks. Would certainly stay here again.

We chose the Travelodge for its convenient location, 100 yards from Hounslow Central tube station and 3 stops form Heathrow AIrport. Booking well in advance, we got the room for the very low cost of £32. With rail strikes we had to add a further night, this time at a cost fo £110. The typical Travelodge hotel room had the necessary facilities with a hair dryer provided by the front desk. Our room was clean but the ground floor areas needed a good hoover.
The area around the hotel is univiting and we had difficulty finding anywhere half decent to eat out. For one night booked at low cost for onward travel to Heathrow this hotel is perfect. For multiple nights we would recommend going somewhere other than Hounslow.

It was well worth the price and the comfort of the room was so good. The cleanliness and the size and the toilet etc was all we liked.
We would like to recommend anyone looking for their value of their money and to have their restful nights on a comfy bed etc.
The only drawback is that they do not provide Wifi and that we had to pay for coverage.

The Travelodge at Hounslow is in a great location to explore London. It's very close to Hounslow Central underground station and trains to Central London are every few minutes. Being situated on the Piccadilly line. Guests can take advantage of the late night service on Friday and Saturday nights.
Staff at the Travelodge Hounslow are always welcoming and friendly. I am a frequent visitor and will carry on using the hotel as it's lighter on the wallet than hotels in Central London. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

The worst experience in the world is to stay at Travelodge Hounslow London. The staff is terrible. The manager is unfriendly and impolite. The food is not good. Breakfast items are very limited. Every time you want to have your room set, you have to report such issue to the reception. I do not recommend staying at Travelodge Hounslow London at all.
