Aerotel London Heathrow garners appreciation for its prime location right next to the airport, a detail that travelers often highlight for its convenience. The hotel's atmosphere is well-regarded, with modern, clean rooms and a spacious lounge, although a few find the rooms a tad dark. Guests have called out the cleanliness, noting the tidy spaces and quality toiletries.
Service at Aerotel is consistently praised, with staff members earning rave reviews for their helpfulness. However, opinions are mixed about the value, considering the cost relative to the overall experience.

Detailed Reviews
i landed in terminal 4, Heathrow. After clearing immigration and collecting my bag it was a touch after midnight. I caught the connecting train (free airport transfer) to terminal 3 and checked into the hotel. Easy to find, friendly desk staff and quick check in.
My room was small, but not smaller than I was expecting. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. The room has no windows (as it is a capsule hotel) and was a little warm when i arrived, but the air conditioning was adjustable and i could rapidly drop the temperature in the room so by the time I got into bed I could sleep comfortably under the blankets without getting too hot.
Wake up call was appreciated and a quick stroll to departures for the next leg of my journey. A very convenient, pretty comfortable hotel,at a pretty standard 'on site' hotel price. I note a few people mentioned noise but my room (second floor, half way along) was very quiet.

Booked one of the single occupancy 10sqm rooms for 9 hours during a long transit at Heathrow T3. As long as you aren’t expecting a full on hotel room, this is perfectly serviceable for the ~£10/hr I paid. Impressively clean (I visited in the middle of the coronovirus panic...) with a comfortable double bed and powerful shower (but obviously no windows). WiFi was ok but my 4G was faster. Perfect for a sleep and refresh before a long haul flight to Argentina!

We evacuated from Saudi Arabia on the last flight out to UK in April 2020. Due to the lockdown, we realised there were no flights to Manchester from Heathrow and were forced to stay overnight at the only hotel open - Aerotel. It was a small room but comfortable, check in was easy and we bought dinner and breakfast from the M&S Simply Food store just opposite.
The next morning, we checked out and caught the BA flight to Manchester. The good part was the location, the fact that it was 24 hours and the only one open.

Stayed here for one night on 21st December prior to our morning flight to Miami, absolutely perfect for a departure from Terminal 3. On arrival , the staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us assistance with our luggage which was taken to our rooms. ( Family of six with two rooms ) . Although the room was not large it had evrything that was needed and was spotlessly clean plus very comfy bed, did not hear any noise , room peaceful and quiet. Had an excellent meal with wine at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

When I booked the room, I wasn’t given any information about check in times. The front desk person told me, when I arrived at 7:00am that check in time is 3:00pm; no exceptions. Around 1:45pm, I asked said front desk person what the chance of my room being ready at 2:30, again he was not helpful. Luckily, a coworker overheard my request & advised me that I can check in early for 10 pounds. Still not sure why the front desk person never mentioned this. The room is about the size of a prison cell & the walls are very thin so I had the pleasure of listening to an argument in the next room. Don’t waste your money . You’re better off staying anywhere else where the staff is professional & try to accommodate their guests. This place does not.

Dear Guest, Please accept my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused during your recent stay with us. We have taken note of your comments and feedback and we will ensure that we rectify the concerns raised by you. In regards to early check in, that is something we do offer however this is subject to availability, depending how busy the hotel was the night before. Usually we wouldn't have rooms available at 7AM if the hotel was full the night prior. As for the noise, we are currently working on trying to make the rooms more sound proof. We hope that you will give us a chance to be of service again. Regards Jaskirat Hundal Hotel Manager

I'll give it 5 stars because the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. That's is exactly what I expected, and exactly what I got. And it's a great option for getting some sleep during a 10 hour wait between flights at Heathrow.
It's not a hotel you'd want to stay in for more than half a day, however. It's a transit hotel. Nothing more, nothing less. The rooms are tiny - about 10M2. There isn't a place to sit, and there are no windows in any of the rooms. Having said that, there are ample electrical outlets. The bathroom is well laid out and equipped. There are USB charging ports, the WiFI is fast and easy, and the TV has lots of choices.
A couple of suggestions to management: 1) Some kind of night light needs to come on when a guest opens the door to the room. It's just pitch black, and trying to figure out you need to put the room key into the slot to make the power go on is a bit daunting. Trust me, it's not intuitive, nor is the slot easy to find. I had to drag out my cell phone flashlight to figure it out. 2) The Thermostat is really difficult to figure out - lots of Icons that don't mean a thing to the uninitiated. A simple instruction card next to the thermostat would be nice. 3) Label hot and cold in the shower.
Anyhow, I transit at Heathrow several times a year, and definitely will stay here again as opposed to a long wait in a lounge somewhere. Incidentally, it is really easy to get from the hotel to terminal 5 via the free Heathrow Express option.

I asked if I could check in early if a room was available and was told I could but it would cost me 10 pounds for each hour before 3 PM! Are they kidding? I bet the local girls on the game love that! Sound proofing? What a joke. I am only 64” tall and I found the so-called room to be impossibly tiny and claustrophobia-inducing! I will never use this place again. I should never have checked out of the Hilton Garden Inn which is a 3 min walk in terminal 2. It was awesome!!!

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that we have fallen short of your expectations. As you might be aware we do offer rooms on hourly basis to our guests who intend to stay for a few hours as they have onward travel plans, therefore we do apply an early check in fee. As for sound proofing, we have introduced new measures to reduce the impact of outside noise from corridors and for your next stay we will be happy to offer an upgrade. Apologies once again for the discomfort caused and we look forward to seeing you in the future. Many thanks Jaskirat Hundal Hotel Manager

We stayed a night at aerotel in heathrow for an early flight. The room was tiny and without windows, but it wasn’t a big deal since it was only an overnight stay.
Staff were really attentive and friendly. However, the hotel cleaning standards were appalling. The bathroom seemed to have smudges from the previous guest and wasn’t cleaned properly. Bedroom floors weren’t hoovered and bedsheets didn’t seem to be fresh.
It’s just so disappointing when you decide to spend a bit more, for what you think might be quality, but in reality budget hotels are much better than this one. Hope this gets improved.

Firstly, this is a transit hotel in the Terminal building at Heathrow T3. Nobody should expect a full scale hotel. Please remember it is a transit hotel. I’ve stayed at something similar in Singapore Airport, although Airside.
There is also a transit hotel in Doha Airport and Dubai Airport but these are 5 star hotels with pools and the works!
I was arriving at 9.30am and had a connecting flight from T5 at 19:20 so decided to book for 10.30 - 16.30 at the cost of £40 which I thought was reasonable. If you join their rewards club you get a 10% discount.
I found the hotel fairly easily from T2 and the gentleman on reception checked me in. The room was small, as expected. Super clean, the bathroom was great.
I appreciated a lot the opportunity to get into bed, watch some daytime TV then managed about 4 hours sleep. Had a shower, the shampoo needed refilling which was my only gripe with the hotel.
WiFi worked well and the AC cooled the room. All in all it was a great place for a lay lover. I’d definitely come back and even stay overnight especially if I had an early morning flight from T3. The bed was comfy, there was a space for my luggage.
It’s true that space is a premium, but the hotel is well taken care of, owned by the same company who runs the Arrivals
lounge next door almost. It would be nice if there was a package with the arrivals lounge plus the hotel.
Check out was simple, just a matter of handing over the key. There was already a mob waiting for rooms so I can imagine it is tricky sometimes getting all rooms ready for day guests and then overnight guests.

Fantastic airport hotel in n a great location. Located in Terminal 3 arrivals it can be accessed by anybody using Heathrow.
The idea of paying for the hours you will be in the room is great as only pay for what you will be using.
I had a solo plus room and I was happy with the room and facilities, the room was smaller compared to other hotels but it done the job for 8 hours use as was catching an early morning flight.
The bathroom was clean and modern and better than expected.
Overall a very good experience and would definitely recommend.

Hello ,
Aerotel is located on ground floor in arrivals hall and drop off for arrivals and departure is same at terminal 3 . So when you enter the lane for terminal 3 get dropped off at last bay so that it’s minimal distance to walk , although it’s on terminal so you cannot miss it . Hope it helps . Thanks
Your connection is totally dependent on the airline . At the checkin counter on the day of the flight your airline should tell you that . Regarding the hotel it’s located landside and you will have to clear immigration. Usually with all connections the luggage doesn’t need to be collected as it’s managed by the airline. Kindly confirm it with the airline as hotel can’t answer that .
Hope it helps .
Thanks
There is a wide variety of sandwiches available and also marks and Spencer right next to the hotel.
Uber eats can deliver but they charge £5 for delivery on top of their charges .collection is sometimes from short stay car park which is 3-4 minutes walk .
There is an restaurant on first floor of departure wing .
Yes, but you would need to catch the tube.
