Kagga Kamma was a treat! Yes, the last 40km of the road is hard core, but unspoilt beauty is most often to be found on the road less travelled.

Hi. Sorry for not replying earlier :(.On our trip there we have passed winelands, orchards and beautiful little towns and breathtaking mountains. There is little opportunity to shop as all the towns are small and don't have much to offer in the way of retail therapy.
There is a small shop at Kagga Kamma which sells the odd tee-shirt or bracelet but nothing else. It's not a trip you take for shopping, more for sightseeing :)
