I stayed here for a night and was disappointed. My room on the 1st floor was in desperate need of a deep clean, as is the lobby. Check in/check out staff were friendly and very accommodating. However, housekeeping knocked loudly on everyone's door in the...More
This hotel is nothing like what it looks like in the pictures. The pictures make it look pretty decent. Don't be fooled. It is very dark and dingy. There is no elevator, which isn't necessarily a huge deal . . but just so you are...More
We stayed overnight and had little expectations. The location turned out to be quite nice, right by the river and its lovely path that leads to the city core. The view of the bridge is quite impressive. The room was basic, though quiet. The breakfast...More
This hotel is located next to the Shipoke neighborhood of Harrisburg, which is one of the city's relatively picturesque residential areas bordering the Susquehanna River with a few brightly colored homes and a cafe-style restaurant. Know that this area of Harrisburg is next to the...More

Thank you all for your honest answers. We are in Harrisburg, which is the capital and is a smaller city. We don't have exciting things happen in our part of the neighborhood. In all, it's actually pretty quiet. The historic district of Shipoke is to the right of us, and downtown to the left. We are within walking distance to what is called restaurant row, and having shopping and other activities to do locally as well. This is a very diverse neighborhood, and we love the different people that come all from our little city of Harrisburg. We are staffed 24 hours a day for our guest's; and our hotel, since it's an open lot, is surveilled 24 hours a day as well.
