My daughter and I needed some time out and what a blessing it was to enjoy Gamagara Africa Private Nature Reserve. The game drives were lovely and we saw a multitude of beautiful animals - our favourite being the giraffes, great meals, walks in nature and very comfortable beds and well equipped rooms. The tennis courts, gym and swimming pool offered further time out. But the best was sitting in the boma around a roaring fire enjoying the stars above. The management team was on top of everything and every wish catered for - and more. We can't wait to return.

Great lodge. Friendly staff and good service. We loved that they have a small gym and tennis courts as well as other amenities such as games room and pool. Loved the ambience, peaceful bush escape.
Perfect stop over. Loved the breakfast and dinners.

We had a lovely night here. The food was amazing and if i could give 6* then i would. Slow cooked eland, it was something to remember. Staff is also very friendly and we loved every minute of it. What is the downside for us is that this used to be a hunting consession and this does present some odd variations of wildlife. Complete white springbok are not a species usually found in nature and then the feeling becomes a bit iffy. We are not judging but as a wildlife enthousiast would rather see a more natural feel to flora and fauna.......The rooms are spacious and nice, the tennis court obstructs the view a little but all in all it is a really nice place where your safaris give you lots to think about!

African nature at its best. Set in the Northern Cape, Gamagara Municipality region, you will find this impressive Private Nature Reserve. African themed decor, scrumptious meals, a variety of game species, fabulous sunsets and game drives.
A feast for the senses.

After staying at Gamagara only one word springs to mind: Fabulous
Seated in the Green Karoo, Gamagara is a place you will never forget. Our week there was superb in every aspect. Our accommodations as well as the whole lodge were fantastic, welcoming, wonderfully decorated, well equipped and maintained. The food was exquisite, the staff were all amazing, friendly and very sweet. Beautiful, peaceful, natural surroundings, exciting game views, lots of wonderful animals – no wishes are left. We fell in love with that wonderful place. Thanks to Elaine and the team for making this the magical time it was. We will definitely come again and refer to all our friends.

Thank you for an awesome visit and great stop over between Kalagadi and Jburg. The Lodge is well maintained. We enjoyed the spacious, upmarket rondawel, delicious dinner and fun game drive. Steegan was exceptional in going the extra mile for us with her warm, caring and vibrant personality. We left feeling refreshed and would highly recommend the Lodge.
