I got the Lighthouse room. It's a small room that, unfortunately, does not actually have access to the upper lighthouse area, and has a reasonably comfortable bed that is a bunk bed. It was quaint, unique, and although nothing special, wasn't unspecial either. It's a short walk to the beach and also local establishments. The front desk man was very nice and helpful. This hotel fit my needs well as a solo traveler. Would stay again.

Recently remodeled, my stay in the Dublin House Motel was enjoyable. I had an upstairs room with a partial view of the ocean. The manager/owner was friendly and the room had everything I needed. Although it is minimalistic, it was spotless, spacious and quiet. The room came with a mini-fridge, dinette table with chairs and microwave. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and you can't beat the price. All in all, it's more like a three star hotel than a two star.

We had view of the ocean but mostly the back yard. We moved the furniture around so we could hear the ocean. It has an indoor swimming pool. The staff was very nice and accommodating. It was cheaper than anywhere else and it was very last minute because my husband does not like to make reservations ahead of time!

Older style motel. Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. We could see the ocean from our room. The small grocery store is just a short walk away. The Management and staff were friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

So many great things at the Dublin House Motel. We booked a room with two queen beds and got #17. The front of the room does face 101 but the bed is at the back of the room and you do not hear road noise. We did hear some ocean. The hotel has THE best location in Yachats and is especially great if you want to walk places. 2 blocks to the ocean and 804 Trail and two blocks to the center of town which is only 5 or 6 blocks long. We were pleasantly shocked when we had housekeeping tidy up our room - haven't had that happen since pre-Covid. The hotel is very well kept up and all our questions were answered by the on site staff. Can't wait to go back and will book a room with a kitchen. Rooms do have a decent size fridge and microwave and plenty of space to spread out. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

I usually stay here for regular visits to Yachats. It's a good price, well located with a short walk to restaurants and the brew pub and to the 804 walking trail, it is kept very clean and the rooms look generally well maintained. The staff are nice people. There is a wide variety of rooms; I think I've stayed in them all. There is a huge downstairs room with rustic wooden beams on the ceiling that I stayed in once. The lighthouse room is unique. I think its worth paying a bit extra for the sea-view rooms. Given the restrictions on indoor dining at the moment it's nice to be able to bring back pastries from the Bread & Roses bakery and enjoy breakfast with a view.

I was so impressed by the friendliness and overall professionalism of everyone on staff here. The hotel was bright and clean, and very reasonably priced for the location. The beds were very comfy, staff were quick to anticipate our every need, and this might sound corny but it felt a bit like we were staying with friends we already knew. One really nice thing about the location is that you can leave your car at the motel and walk anywhere you want to go in Yachats, from dinner and shopping to the beach. It's a very friendly town, and we never ran out of things to do there. I plan to stay here every time I go back to Yachats, which I hope will be often in coming months. :)

While the accommodations were not terrible, we did find a dirty pair of stained men’s underwear behind the futon and a dirty washcloth stuffed behind the door. Meaning the level of cleanliness was subpar. The view was “ok” but deff not on a foggy day. You see houses and nothing else. There were no screens in the second story room we stayed in either. Safety wise of a kid and animal friendly hotel, you think that would be a high priority. Also made it not as friendly to have the windows open to listen to the distant ocean. The futon was as hard as a rock and the king bed was super stiff. For $175 a night, we expected a little more for that price point. When we asked on Saturday when we checked in about best local restaurants, walking trails etc, we were given no information or places and just a “kid” drawn looking map from the snippy front desk lady. We still made the best of our stay and found our own locations via trip advisor etc. We were just thinking the locals would have the best advice. When this was brought up at check out, the gentleman was apologetic. And we understand good help is hard to find right now. We were offered a discount to come back but that truly serves us no purpose as we came up there only with family whom is from out of state and needed a quick hotel spot to do a last minute coastal overnight that was affordable.

We had a wonderful experience at the Dublin House Motel. Yvonne was extremely patient and kind when I made our reservation, explaining every option and helping me select the perfect room. When we checked in, Brian went above and beyond in showing us things to do in town and in the area. We really enjoyed talking with him and learning about the community. The room itself was huge and included a table, couch, chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, etc. We were able to eat our breakfast while watching the waves come to shore - so nice! The bed was extremely comfortable! We also liked the location of the Dublin House as we could walk to everything in Yachats while being a very short drive from Cape Perpetua, many cool beaches, etc. We highly recommend the Dublin House!

To my delight and surprise I was offered an upgrade for a small additional cost, and found myself in a magical room with an ocean view. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the fridge and microwave allowed me to eat some food I had with me, and also store food overnight. Fortunately I had my own plate and silverware, those are not provided, so if you plan to eat at 'home' bring your own! Thank you to all at Dublin House, I had a wonderful stay.

lol. I didn’t see any bedbugs, but I looked. But after laying down on the (very) uncomfortable bed for about 20 minutes to read, I told my husband that I couldn’t stand the smell and we left. It was mid-afternoon. I didn’t even go to the office to see about getting my money back. We just packed up and drove down to Florence. Awful place!
