Stayed here when visiting family in Gresham area. Easily accessed from the interstate. The hotel is very close to Amazon's huge fulfillment center, where one of my sons works, so I could pick him up after work. Parking lot was very well lit. Desk staff was fine. Room was very clean, well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Masks required in all public areas (good) and desk clerk was masked. Wifi worked very well. Shower was excellent. My room was quiet, and clientele seemed fine. All good. Only downside was that a guy (guest?) was smoking pot in the parking lot.
Very friendly staff, comfy beds, spacious room, and pretty good grab & go breakfast selection. Great place to stay if you are touring the Columbia River Gorge. Close to Multnomah Falls so if you missed them the first day, they are a quick trip viewing the next morning. Please note: Google Maps GPS will take you to the other side of the airport. Best to put in directions for DQ to get you to the hotel.
We stayed here from Oct 1-3. We checked in on the eve of the 1st after 9 pm and the desk clerk, Aimee was wonderful, swiped our credit card and answered any questions. At midnight both hubby and I had finally started to slip into a good sleep when all of a sudden the phone starts ringing. I answer it and it is someone at the desk, not the lady who checked us in, tells me she was doing her nightly audit and we need to bring our card down to get swiped bc it wasn’t done earlier. I asked her if it really needed to be done right now and she said yes. So hubby had to get dressed and go to the desk, neither of us really got back to sleep after that interruption. We were in town to help out my best friend who had just lost her mother and needed our rest, which we didn’t get. I get she had a job to do BUT you should not be disrupting your guests at midnight unless there is an emergency. Next time we come to town I think we will look elsewhere.…
We stayed here on a Wednesday night after touring Columbia River Gorge East of Portland. Nice spot close to highway and still outside Portland. Front desk clerk was friendly. Checked me in early and gave me some suggestions for dinner. Clean room with comfortable beds. Had a little trouble getting the a/c where we wanted it. Breakfast was about normal for Covid. Besides cereal they had bagels and peeled hardboiled eggs (separately packaged).
We stayed here 1 night each at the beginning of our trip and at the end of our trip. First night we stayed our room, even though non-smoking, smelled like smoke and not very clean. I accidentally left my charging cords in the room, and thought I would pick them up on our return trip, but the hotel said they didn't find them. Hmmm. Maybe they slipped under the bed where they don't sweep. Second stay the room was cleaner and didn't smell. Breakfast was free and adequate. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Downtown Troutdale has some good restaurants and the hotel is convenient to the Portland Airport.
