I was in love with a fantastic girl, but I couldn't tell her how I really felt because she's a real hardcase and would have likely bounced. pounced. But she did agree to fly from LA to stay with me at the Mark Spenser and after two nights she'd changed her flight so we could be together longer. We took the 101 all tne way up the coast to Seettle, and before We were half way there we were talking about getting married. So I'd be crazy not to recommend the Mark Spenser. The blue champagne was were weird visually but still tasty. Cheers! Johnny & Marlo / Room 507 / May 14 to 16, 2022
We originally found the Mark Spencer by looking for hotels in downtown Portland and gave it a try. We love the character and ambience. It is quiet, well-appointed, has a small full kitchen. The corner kings have a lot of natural light, which is an important feature for us. It is within walking distance of Powell's Books, Living Room theater, good restaurants, transportation. It offers underground parking. It is what we look for in a hotel. We have stayed there more than once and will stay there again.
Staff is kind and helpful and professional. The room was clean and perfect. I was very pleased with the entire experience. They also have a garage for parking that eased a lot of anxiety for me. 10/10 will return again.
The hotel is in the downtown, close to several restaurants and the art museum. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Personnel of the hotel are friendly. I had a good time in this place and for sure I would stay there again in my next trip to Oregon.
The location of this hotel was great and the rooms were clean and had a lot of character. The bed was also very comfortable. We stayed at many hotels on this trip and the Mark Spencer was one of our favorites. Highly recommend!
