This hotel seems geared towards age 30 and below. The bar is a loud “club” atmosphere. Rooms are very small. We had deluxe room with king bed and with two suitcases and a carry-on all the floor space is gone. It’s cramped. On positive note the domaine serene tasting room was great. Hotel is close to many other restaurants. There’s no parking, there’s a valet service not run by hotel but it’s 50 dollars per night. There’s no where to park and unload baggage. Would not stay here again. For the money would go with thenines.

The staff has great attitude & very helpful. The beds are super comfortable and the location is excellent. I was here for wedding reception at the hotel, and was thrilled to be so close to the celebration.

Our stay at The Sentinel was very pleasant. The staff was more than accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and finding we had a Kind bed in our Terrace room with a fire put was a pleasant surprise. You also can't beat the location downtown close to public transportation that can get you all over the city. We would definitely stay again.

This was my first time staying in this hotel and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The staff was welcoming and provided an excellent level of customer service, regardless of the request. The interior of the hotel takes you back in time, it really feels like you are back in the early 1900s. I would stay here again without hesitation. If you love history, intricate design and beautiful architecture, you wont regret staying here!!!

We stayed at the Sentinel for a weekend getting two rooms for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We’ve been staying here since at least 2005. Every room we’ve stayed in has been spacious and beautiful. We always have a meal at Jakes Grill, as well (can easily book reservations on open table in advance) On this trip my son left his laptop in the room, only discovered after we had left Oregon. Shannon was extremely helpful and the laptop was sent to us via fedex quickly. We are so appreciative of her efforts, and all of the friendly staff!
