What a wonderful find in Newberg! Mitzy was such a great host - she thought of everything. It was so nice to enjoy breakfast in our room in the morning, also there was an Nespresso machine which was delightful. The beds were very comfortable and the whole B&B was very clean. Definitely will be telling my friends about The Willows!

The Willows Bed and Breakfast is located on the edge of Newberg. Upon our arrival we were welcomed by Mitsi, the owner and innkeeper. A plate of homemade cookies was awaiting us as we were shown our accommodations in the upstairs of the Dutch colonial style home. Our family enjoyed having the upstairs to spread out in during our stay. As other reviewers mentioned, Mitsi put considerable thought and effort into everything from umbrellas to borrow to a fridge/freezer/microwave to use. The linens from Restoration Hardware were lovely! We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of crickets chirping and frogs croaking. All of us found a caffeine option (hot chocolate, drip coffee, and Nespresso) in the mornings that helped start the day. Our breakfasts were outstanding! Mitsi is an amazing hostess who loves what she does! We are treasuring the memories of our stay!

We travel a lot but do not often write reviews, but The Willows is so exceptional we felt compelled to do so. We stayed six nights and could not have been more pleased. There is only one guest at a time (although there is another bedroom for traveling companions) and that gives you the entire second floor. The bedroom is huge with plenty of seating. The kitchenette is well equipped, the bath is large and beautiful, and you have your own sun porch where Mitsi serves a terrific breakfast each morning. It appears that Mitsi has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a five way charging station in the bedroom, umbrellas, a cooler, a thermos, and the list goes on. The Willows gets our highest recommendation. You will not be disappointed with your stay.

My friend and I planned a trip to visit her daughter in Portland. I have always wanted to go to Wilamette Valley to spend some time visiting wineries. We needed two rooms to accommodate all of us, and we stumbled upon Mitsi's B & B and read her great reviews. The accommodations are private, spacious, and well appointed. From the European kitchen well stocked daily including fresh cream to the delightful custom made breakfast, Mitzi was happy to accommodate every request we had. We felt like we had the benefit of a private home with a secured entry just for us. The entire upstairs was ours. The bathroom was fabulous with heated floors, a beautiful claw footed tub with a chandelier. The walk in rain shower was fabulous! This is a high recommend, and we look forward to our next visit here!

We had the pleasure of visiting Newberg and the surrounding Winery regions over the last week. Having never stayed in this area before we had no idea where to stay for our two nights, and thought perhaps a B&B experience might fit the bill! We discovered The Willows and are we ever glad we did. What a wonderful and beautifully appointed B&B it turned out to be. Booking with Mitsi was the best thing we could have possibly done to make our trip memorable and special. We have never: felt so comfortable in someone else's home, been welcomed so warmly and been provided such privacy. The suite itself is lovely, and in fact the posted photos do not do it justice. There are unique touches everywhere, from the beautiful art on the walls to the delightful artifacts creatively placed throughout. It is spacious yet cozy, with a lovely bright little sunroom with a mountain view, where Mitsi delivers and serves her excellent and plentiful breakfasts at your chosen time. Winery brochures, area information, games, maps...all there! The European kitchen is perfect, providing her guests with glassware, dishes, microwave, coffeemaker, kettle, well sized refrigerator, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more. The master bedroom is large with a table and chairs, comfy chaise with throw and pillows, desk and chair, pretty electric fireplace, stocked closet ( umbrellas, picnic cooler, ironing board, iron, robes...), and the king size bed with its top of the line bedding is divine. The bathroom is so special with its clawed bathtub, chandelier, separate large shower, heated floors and stocked high quality vanity items. We really can't say enough wonderful things about Mitsi and the care and thought she puts into her B&B. She is a beautiful person with a very big heart. We look forward to our next visit!
