Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. We were later than expected checking in, but they were efficient and informative. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, but appreciated that the desk clerk proactively asked if we wanted reservations to use either one. The decor seemed newer and in good shape. Our room was at the end on the 2nd floor and even though we were up the hill, we had a view of the water and sunset. The back of the hotel faces a residential area, so it was nice to look out at the houses and ocean. To look at the shore it's just a walk down the street (6 blocks?) but to be able to walk on the beach you need to walk farther (to the 34th st. public entry. It's not a bad walk, but you do get your exercise!
They handled breakfast in a safe and easy way--you filled out a form, went down to pick it up, and then ate it in your room. The food was so-so; mostly packaged because doing fresh was difficult during Covid, but very much appreciated.

overall stay was 5 star and we reccommend this stay to anyone best in lincoln city for price pets and amenities..hot breakfast was hot fresh and enjoyable not some stuff in a hot holder with yesterdays unused foods like most other hotels..we would like to say get a ground floof with private parking in back that offers. Direct access to room via sliding glass door no trudging thru lobby up n down the halls ..overall awsome stay stayed 2 nights extended to 3 would have stayed 4 if the spa rule was enforced. 10 to 12 adults only the told us however it was like a school playground all nights wasnt impressed please enforce your adult time rule or at least tell us your spa is a jungle gym fotr unruly children

I am a mom of 5, who finally got a babysitter, and was planning an all in one anniversary/belated honeymoon/husband's birthday weekend celebration. Like I said I rarely get a babysitter so we had to pack it all into one lol.

I had actually started by booking a room at Starfish Manor, I was so excited to finally get away, and it was going to be a honeymoon suite. That all went south very fast. We arrive and it's the wrong room, they won't refund us, the woman at the front desk was so very rude, they had no other rooms, and charged me $200 for a room I never even used. I was so upset, and deflated from this I almost drove straight home. My husband called the Inn at Wecoma, got us a room reserved, and we decided we would try to salvage the day.

This was the best decision we have ever made. I went from almost in tears, to feeling so welcomed, and they took care of everything! They felt so bad about what happened these amazing women gave us a free bottle of wine, glasses, and even discounted our room. They go above and beyond, to make sure everyone has their very best stay. Please don't do what I did, start off your vacation right, by staying at Inn at Wecoma. Thank you Eileah and Darci, I can't tell you how much what you ladies did meant to us, thank you for saving our weekend and making us feel like valued customers!!!!

This was the first time we'd stayed at this hotel, and it was OK. Naomi, the front desk clerk we dealt, with was probably the best part of our stay. She was very nice and personable.

However, for the price we paid (over $200 a night with no senior discount) we would have expected our room to be serviced, but since we were "only there 2 nights", we had to make our own bed, and take down our used towels and request more.

The pillows were way too thin, and even using two, didn't really help.

We MIGHT stay here again.

We scheduled a pool time with a lady (the one that had been working there awhile, not the new lady training) for the morning and was told 10am was the only open time,I accepted it and said I would just need to rinse my kids in the room shower after the pool time and then check out. I was told that I needed to check out of my room 1st before swimming or I would be charged $20. Ok, so we check out at 10am and asked for the pool key and towels. The guy was confused why I was checking out before swimming. I told him that is what the lady told me to do, she said it was normal for people to shower and get dressed in the pool house restroom. He said this was not true. Wish I would have known that because we had already packed our belongings up. Anyways it ended up sucking big time as the pool house shower only had a trickle of freezing cold water. I was not able to rinse chlorine off myself or my 2 kids who have sensitive skin and that is why I needed to rinse them after swimming. We let the shower water run for over 10 minutes as we sat in the hot tub thinking it would warm up, but nope. We ended up not being able to rinse off although the lady said it was a normal thing people did. The hotel was clean and staff were kind, but the smell, gutter leak and pool shower left me with a negative outlook on this hotel. It made me wish I had stayed at the great hotel I was at the night before.

We stayed at the Wacoma Inn in Lincoln City, Oregon from July 15 to 25. There were 5 of us. We drove 15 hours to get there! The sheets didn't fit the twin cots in 2nd room and there was blood stains on both of the cots. We found someone's fishing license papers under the sheets so we knew the sheets hadn't been changed when we got there. . We needed to do our laundry (there was one washer for all motel guests staying) they said the washer was broken and would not get fixed the entire stay. They advertise housekeeping (they had no housekeeping). We had to take our room garbage even the bathroom garbage up to front desk every day in a see through plastic bag and hand it over to the clerks (embarassing). There was no grab bars or hair blow dryer in the bathrooom except for a tiny grab bar very low in the tub!! . The workers were very pleasant, and every time we went to get towels they would gladly give them to us. They are located about a half mile from the ocean, dog friendly, but you must walk quite a ways across the drive to take your dog out for the night. The pool is in a seperate building so you freeze in that icy weather after a swim. The free breakfasts never changed once while we were there, biscuits and gravy, eggs that were from a mix, milk one kind of cereal, a few watered down juices, some bagels and yogurt and coffee. The free breakfasts were very cheap to say the least. I do NOT recommend this motel unless you stay one night perhaps. The only good thing the people were nice that worked there and it was clean except for the beds in 2nd bedroom were not clean. Sheets kept sliding off as you slept. Also the heater were dirty, we found cobwebs inside and they smelled bad if turned on. Also the noise level all night long was horrible. Stomping and pounding from guests from above our room. We have stayed at many places but never this bad for noise,, My granddaughter even complained she could not sleep in that noise!! All night long!! For 10 nights I was charged $2500 but they took off a little for our inconvenience. That is worse than Southern California.

We stayed at this facility during a trip to purchase our new home. The staff was great, friendly and helpful, but some aspects of the facility led to a sleepless night. For us the bedding was too soft and felt worn down from over use, furniture was overdue for recycling and a number of basic amenities were missing. The noise from adjoining rooms and the Hwy.101 were intrusive beyond what we felt were reasonable expectations. And, if you don't like pulling out into traffic near a blind curve, this location could be problematic.

1/4/2022 Stayed there 2 nights for New Years eve in a room with king size bed and a fire place 3 floor with a balcony it was roomy. The room didn't have a closet but a bunch of coat hanger hooks on the wall with a small closet rack to hang your coats or sweaters. When we came back from going out because it was New Years eve was surprised to find parking stalls in back that was still close to the entrance of the inn. The only noise that was we heard was I guess the morning crowd in the hallway leaving for the hot breakfast or to check out. The hot breakfast items were sausage, scrambled egg, biscuits and gravy. There was yogurt, bagels, individual cereal bowls this is from what I remember seeing. There is a pool but we didn't use it. There's also a small dvd library you could borrow from. The front desk was very helpful and friendly I forgot her name though. She brought up towels and a fan to our room at like 2 a.m. Would stay there again.

The inn is clean, tidy, and staff is friendly. Breakfast room is large, and well organized. Food was basic and tasty. Our queen room was clean and perfect size for the 2 of us, and bed was very comfortable. Liked that there was a frig, micro, and coffee set-up. Didn't use the pool but it looked clean, and there were lots of towels available in that area. We booked the least expensive queen room, and found it was perfect. There's even a coin operated washer/drier at the end of the hall (3rd floor) for guests to use! We recommend this inn.

Check in was suppose to be at 3 and they made us wait an hour. I was told they were still cleaning the room. At 3pm? and was not apologetic he had the excuse rehearsed like he had said this so many times and said they will text us when the room is ready. After a long drive to get there and get this kind of service was not a good impression. Rooms are decent the KID who was serving breakfast likes to put bowl sideways in a bag for you. I thought is was just a one time thing, and when my fiancés mother came out to get breakfast he did the same thing, hot biscuits and grave in a bowl sideways in a bag.
