My extended family and some friends stayed here over 4th of July weekend. My husband (JK Jr.) reserved the rooms and used his credit card. Our friends charged their room to their own card, however, my FIL (JK Sr. - 86 yrs old) must have misunderstood and had them charge to card on file rather than pay for it himself. I called to have the correct card charged and they refused to refund my husbands card and charge the correct card. Said it was impossible to refund once checked out and since it was family I could get it back from them! When asked why he could not issue refund just kept saying its family get it back from them. The other option was to drive from Portland to show ID and get the proper card charged. In addition, our friends room was in very poor condition. No coffee pot, lamp and clock didn't work and no hangers in the closet. My FIL could not get hot water to take a shower. Not at all acceptible for the rates they charged for a holiday weekend!

The place is a tad decrepit outside. The rooms are clean and decent but dated. No coffee maker and no breakfast. The heater in my room did not work well. I had to rank it up to 80 degrees on the thermostat just to get the chill off the room. I’ll brush my teeth in the morning and get out of here.

We just stayed here for one night arriving fairly late and leaving in the morning. It was a basic, basic hotel. The room was clean, the bed was fine. We stayed in a room with access for people with disabilities so the floor wasn't carpet and the shower is probably different than other rooms. I don't remember breakfast being much to write home about. For what we needed, it was fine. A place to crash for the night.

I stayed at this motel for a volunteer meeting, desk staff rude, my room stunk of Marijuana, when I told the front desk, they wouldn't do anything to correct the situation. Right out side of my room was a sign prohibiting smoking within 10 feet, there was a gentleman smoking less than 2 feet from the door to my room, again no corrective action. I'll never stay here again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else... Ever. Doesn't matter the name change or the unjustified increase in room rent, this place will never be worth more than 25¢ a night.
