We stayed two nights in the old part of the hotel. Room is small but comfortable, bed is comfy too. I was late in making reservations so we didn’t get one of the larger rooms with en suite bath. All was fine with that. The food here is amazing, large selection of dinner items

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Diamond while on a trip to visit the Steens Mountains and surrounding areas. We enjoyed our stay. Dinner is at 6:30PM and is served family style. We enjoyed talking with other travelers and sharing experiences. The food was well prepared:

Very unique. Rooms come with private bathroom or you get to share. Amazing location. Lots of birding activity. No phones, no TV. Quiet. Good food served family style. Special diets seemed to be catered to. Reservations are a must. Watch out. A little hard to spot
