#59 of 123 hotels in Tulsa
Quality Inn Tulsa-Downtown is located only 2 minutes west of downtown Tulsa. We've turned a legendary monument location into a unique hotel overlooking downtown Tulsa. What started out as Tulsa's first orphanage in July 1929, has now 75 years later, been totally reconstructed from the ground up into a 4 story hotel, keeping the integrity of the past history with the original fire place in our breakfast room. The hotel is comprised of 55 rooms with all the amenities you would expect when staying at a luxury hotel without paying the luxury hotel prices. For the business traveler we have all the amenities you would need. All our rooms include free high speed internet, 2 line telephones with voicemail, most rooms have a work desk, complimentary USA Today newspaper, complimentary hot breakfast and should you need it, our business center open 24 hours a day for your convenience. If you just want to relax, then enjoy the outdoor pool. We are only minutes away from the world famous Gilcrease Museum, Historic Brady District, Cain's Ballroom, BOK Center, COX Business center and Tulsa Convention Center.

The drapes and the rubber drapery lining had brown smears--not stains. I shudder to think what they are. I was there for a 5-night stay. The first few days, no "grab and go" breakfast--just packets of oatmeal--no bowls and no milk. (They claimed "the truck" had not come in a week--then go to Target or Walmart and buy paper bowls and breakfast items. That's what I had to do.) The carpeting in room 412 was nasty. I had to ask twice for a plunger before I finally got one. When I ran low on toilet paper and asked housekeeping for some, the employee said, "I'll try and find some." Since when is toilet paper a tough-to-find item? There were bits of trash right outside the elevator, and it was there for 24 hours. Nobody is taking pride in the place.

Got a great price on Priceline, and I am happy to say that for the price, this is an outstanding hotel. I’ll go further to say it’s been the, for the money, my best hotel experience in a few years. The rooms are very well upgraded and modern. The breakfast is as good as anything I’ve seen since COVID started. It seems the hotel is short on staff and I think with a few hours of work in the stairwells and landscaping, it would present itself even better still with that simple investment. The pool area is out and it seems there’s no plan to bring it back soon. The staff is very welcoming and I witnessed several families checking in. The location was close to downtown where I could get where I needed with no hassle. Overall, a very nice stay and experience.

Everyone drops the ball once in awhile but this experience was well short of the mark repeatedly! No soaps/shampoo, large stain on the carpet (wife called it a murder scene), no attempt at hot breakfast - though the website touts that in many places. Yes, there is a Covid blanket disclaimer on the website but that appears to be their license to do a poor job overall! Garbage! Poor reflection on a generally good chain.

I used to love coming up and staying here. While it is still ok for the price, I think I’ll opt to stay elsewhere from now on when I come to Tulsa. The property has went downhill since my last visit, but nothing a complete remodel wouldn’t fix. The doorknobs to my bathroom were loose. Only one towel and wash rag in the bathroom. Carpet in the hallway is worn out and very dirty. And there was a very strong marijuana oder on the 2nd floor. I have nothing against people smoking weed if they want but this was overpowering and gave me a headache. I hope this place updates soon. It is in a great location, and some of the rooms have the best views of downtown Tulsa in the city. I’d love to hear about updates and a complete remodel, come back in a year or so, and give this place 4 or 5 stars again.
