We stayed for 1 night this weekend with another couple and our dogs, hired both the posh pods which includes the toilet/ shower pod too. Vicky greeted us on arrival, very friendly and advised us on pubs to take the dogs in and where was nice for food. The pods were so clean and warm, even during the night without the heater on it retained the warmth which we found a lot better than other glamping pods we’ve been to. Fridge, microwave and kettle all look new and cutlery/ plates/ cups for use, with washing up facilities behind the shower pod. The bed was very comfy too. It’s a lovely, quiet location, and the grass area to the front of the pods is great as the dogs could sit outside/ run about. It’s a 5 minute drive down to Hunmanby Gap where the dog friendly beach is wide and sandy, and there’s a little cafe with outside seating. If the tide is out you can walk along to Filey one way or Reighton the other. We all had a fab time and will definitely return.

I booked glamping at The Follies for my partners birthday. We had a warm welcome from Vicky, who made sure we had everything we needed. The pod was immaculate. It was very peaceful on a night. The nearby beach (Hunmanby Gap) is a favourite of ours, definitely worth a visit.

Found this place by total chance. We had almost given up trying to find somewhere to go at last minute for a bank holiday, everywhere was fully booked. Vicky had a last minute cancellation & we took it. I’m so glad we did. My husband & I had a great time. 2 nights peace & quiet with no children was just what we needed... we’ll definitely be rebooking for next year... Thankyou

Stayed here end of July-beginning of August for 4 nights( but could have stayed longer) Lovely , cosy, clean accommodation set in really peaceful surroundings. The cottage is really well equipped with every thing you need. Plus we had a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates waiting for us in the lodge, plus milk, tea and coffee....this was a lovely touch. Vicky greeted us on arrival and couldn’t have been more helpful, such a lovely lady. The location is perfect for visiting Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough and the surrounding area. Hunmanby itself is has plenty to offer...pubs, takeaways, delicatessen and supermarket. A visit to the Piebald Inn is a must. Would definitely stay there again.

A lovely, cosy few nights staying in the camping pods. Super warm, clean and comfortable. The shower was a joy after a day in the sea. The pods are convenient for Filey and Scarborough and we had an excellent time coasteering and surfing nearby. Hunmanby Gap beach is close by.

Quirky, quaint, warm and welcoming. This small compact lodge was the ideal base for my wife and I. Vicky, the owner, has made the Low Lodge feel like home. The location is perfect for exploring the coast, Scarborough,Whitby and Hunmanby gap as well as the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. I would highly recommend this Folly.

My husband and I just got back from a 1 night stay in the posh pods with our 6 year old son, 18m old daughter and our golden retriever and we have had a fantastic time! There are 2 beautiful, modern pods and a shower pod and we booked both pods because it is just logistically easier for us to be able to spread across two pods. The pods themselves are just perfect - snug and warm, immaculately clean, comfy beds and very spacious. They were very well appointed with a fridge, microwave, kettle, cutlery, plates, cups and glasses. Everything was immaculate. Vicky, the host is super friendly - communication perfect from the start, very knowledgeable, close by in case we needed her for anything. She had the heaters on in the pods for us so they were snug and warm when we arrived. There is a bbq and picnic area too, though we ate at The Piebald Pub (abt 15m walk away - good beer and even better pies!). The setting is fantastic and just beautiful. A perfect little green and surrounded by trees. Lots of parking too. Everywhere was just so beautiful and so well maintained! The location is perfect - shirt walk into Hunmanby which is a lovely little village but only a short car journey to Filey and Scarborough. We loved it so much and we will DEFINITELY stay again - we will be booking yo come back in the new year, without a doubt!

Stayed here in a pod for 1 night. The host Vicky welcomed us and showed us the facilities. The pod was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels were provided, The location was quiet and peaceful. There is so much space to sit out and enjoy the sunshine and surroundings. A very decent local pub just 0.2 of a mile away. Absolutely perfect night away in every respect. We will definitely be returning.
