One night stay away from the chaos. Checked in and was greeted by a nice man on the desk who informed us of everything we needed to know. Our room was very clean and nicely placed, with the tv opposite the bed on the wall. Although our room was right next to a road, it didn't disturb us at all, we even slept with the window open and we still didn't hear it! Bathroom is lovely. Bed was comfy. Our neighbours did wake us up in the middle of the night shouting, but not the hotel's fault. Breakfast was very nice. Everything cooked nicely and the atmosphere was perfect and quiet for a Sunday morning, and the staff were very friendly!!
We only live down the road but would definitely stay here again! If I could say one thing to change, we paid for WiFi for 24 hours, but the code that was given can only be used by one person. It didn't say anywhere whilst booking we had to to buy of these codes for a room for 2 people. Could have made this clearer, even better offer guests free wifi?? Other than that a great stay!

Rooms are simple but beautifully clean and the location is great. You have aldi / McDonald's / Costa right outside which is a bonus. Parking available free of charge. Late check out 12pm was perfect!

We came with a wedding party and were greeted late into the night by Josh the nightworker - lovely chap!! The party carried on as everyone was still in good spirits and we couldn't of asked more from the Travelodge team whilst we stayed. Josh was efficient, extremely polite and looked after us well, drinks were served quickly and the table was cleared on a regular.

We were made to feel welcome, were not pressured to leave even though it was late and drinks were very reasonable prices at the bar.

When it came to the morning we stayed for the unlimited breakfast available for £8.99 per head (kids eat free) there was a great selection of both hot and cold food and beverages. The food was constantly topped up and was of good quality. Again there was a large group of us, but we were dealt with efficiently, politely & felt no pressure to rush which enabled us to finish off our wedding experience perfectly! The space of the dining area also enabled the kids to play without being in the way.

All the staff we encountered throughout our stay were fantastic both front and back of house, the hotel throughout was emaculate and I would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend.

Keep up the good work! 5* service

Stayed here 17.2.20 for one night - the hotel and room was spotlessly clean and breakfast fresh and plentiful.
The hotel is on a little retail park with plenty of parking spaces and approx a 2 minute walk to McDonalds (handy for families staying here) and Costa Coffee.
The only negative to the hotel is the bar prices, we bought 2 drinks in a local pub for £5.80 and the exact same round cost £12,50 in the hotel bar = £6.70 difference!! - not a surprise it was empty!!

We booked three rooms prior to the pandemic to include wifi and breakfast to go to a wedding. We were then given vouchers which were not easy to use to rebook. We were not allowed a refund. Due to regulations at the time when we rebooked we were changed from a full breakfast to a boxed breakfast but all changed again when we arrived. Despite having originally booked and paid for 5 full breakfasts I was told initially that I would have to pay extra for the 3 we were going to have. Was never sent code for wifi that I had paid for for 48 hours for 6 devices. So when I discovered I could not log on it turned out that the wifi wasn’t working. To be fair the staff once told did then fix it but I probably got 24 hours for one device out of it. This hotel is basically on a retail park but has relatively easy access from the motorway. 20 minute walk into town. Breakfast was good when we got it and the staff were keen to please. Bar also was open and again the staff were very helpful. Beds a little hard and you get a basic pod bathroom with a shower (no bath). Location was quieter at night than the location would suggest. I would have given 4 stars for hotel and staff but 2 stars for booking and other technical issues. So 3 is the average.

The room had a floodlight right outside the window shining in so it was like daylight at all times in the room. There is nothing they can do about it because the light is for their car park - they could of course fit a blackout blind.
There is a constant humming noise from the bathroom fan, which never switches off - the noise is very irritating.
The room wasn't cleaned despite displaying the 'please clean our room' notice on the door.
The location is a bit out of the way so was a long walk into town, it is also near to a busy road. The room was very warm so we had to have the window open all the time so the noise from the road, Aldi deliveries and the cars visiting the 24 Hour McDonalds was annoying.

Great one night stay. Perfect.
Even though we have mobile phones, traveling as a single female, I would have felt safer if there was a landline phone in the room.
Being vegan, I had to request the meat free sausages at breakfast, which were done in about 15 minutes and were very nice.
I also had to request the dairy free milk.

This Travelodge in Letchworth Garden City is a second home to me as I live in Wales and split my time working 2 weeks here and 2 weeks in Wales.

The staff are amazingly proffesional, welcoming, tentative and help me feel extremely welcome. This even more important to me as during my 2 weeks stay each month I stay at weekends.

On occasions I need to stay longer at short notice and the team work so well to ensure I'm not jumping from room to room.

The place is very well maintained and always smells fresh and clean with food and a bar if you so wish., nothing seems too much trouble.

Thank you team Travelodge Letchworth Garden City and I have to say the best Travelodge I've stayed in, and I've stayed in many!!!

Everything excellent with the exception of there being no bath, just a shower cubicle and breakfast was served from 8am and I had business meetings which meant leaving the hotel at 8am. Both these factors were well offset by the very competitive offer price at this hotel, which equated to £15 per person (2 people) per night . . . excellent value!

Stayed at Letchworth for two nights to attend a family event. Bit nervous because we were bringing elderly parents for first time since Covid. Staff were really cheerful and helpful. We were met by Charlotte when we checked in who is so professional and friendly at the same time and she looked after us on Saturday evening when we ate in the bar. And the cleaning was amazing - Cathy worked so hard cleaning the eating area and simple things like swapping the serving tongs every now and again at breakfast. Felt really comfortable and had a great stay. Thank you everyone.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. I like the fact that it is very cheap and easy location to drive into London. In terms of the actual hotel, it is what you expect from a Travelodge.

I thought the breakfast was a bit disappointing and I would much rather eat out for breakfast (Hotel is located on a retail park so plenty of alternatives for breakfast).

All in all it is an okay Travelodge hotel.

Is there a way I can book online but pay at arrival?

Hi, unfortunately not. When you book you have to pay. I know premier inn does book on line and pay at desk but not travelodge. Hope this helps
