Travellers' Choice
David and Jayne are delighted to welcome you to Whitemoor House and will endeavour to make your stay a pleasurable experience. Book direct with us for the most uptodate availability and to discuss your individual requirements. Whitemoor House overlooks the open New Forest, and a policy of continual refurbishment ensures a high standard of accommodation is maintained. Well appointed rooms offer comfort and style, with double, twin and romantic four poster beds for that special occasion (champagne, chocolates, flowers and strawberries can be arranged on request). Our hearty breakfasts are cooked using only the finest local produce, from farmhouse sausages, dry cured bacon, free range eggs to scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. There is also an extensive choice of cereals, fruits and yogurts to start with. We make our own marmalade, jam, lemon curd, granola and welcome cake. We provide well stocked mini bars, a cosy lounge with real fires for those winter months, a sunny garden for warmer days, an extensive library of maps, guide books, DVDs and board games plus complimentary Wi-Fi in each room. Your comfort and enjoyment during your visit is our top priority. Lyndhurst village centre is just 7-8 minutes stroll away and has an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs and tea/coffee shops. Just across the road is direct access to the open forest, beautiful walks and close encounters with ponies, donkeys and cattle! Cycle hire is available in Lyndhurst, with several well-marked tracks to choose from. The unique New Forest Golf Club is a short walk from here and offers beneficial rates to our residents. With over 45 attractions including Beaulieu (the home of Lord Montague and The National Motor Museum), Eling Tide Mill, Hurst Castle and the New Forest Wildlife Park, Whitemoor House, with its central location, is a great place to stay in the New Forest.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Just got home. Where do I start ? Jayne and David made us very welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. Nothing was to much trouble. Parking was easy out the front and we was also given a permit for up to 3 hours short stay parking to use in the area. The room key had a discount fob on it which saved you money on local businesses and attractions which we used and got 10% off in the Chinese . We had the 4 poster bed ‘ Forest View’ room it was lovely. The room had plenty of tea/ coffee sachets and biscuits as well. Also a lovely touch with the chocolates on the pillows. The tv also had a DVD player and there was a large selection of DVDs in the foyer for you to watch if you wished. Check in was easy and we were offered a cup of tea and some cake which came in very handy after the journey ! The breakfast was lovely and it was all good quality products as well which is not always the case in some places. You are situated within easy walking distance to the shops , pubs and restaurants and there are plenty to choose from. It’s just a shame it went so quick but we will return. If you are heading for the New Forest for a break then head to Whitemoor House. You won’t be disappointed

My wife and I stayed at Whitemoor House for two nights. We haven’t stayed in a B & B for such a long time and David & Jayne did not disappoint, there were fabulous hosts. They gave us a very warm welcome including Tea and Cake, Local Council Packing Disc, and a very useful discount card to use in the local Restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was fabulous, great selection of hot and cold choices including fresh fruit salad and homemade jams. We stayed in the Forest View Room, overlooking the National Forest, where you can spot the horses roaming freely. The bedroom is immaculately dressed with a four poster bed and it was very clean, spacious, and relaxing. The en-suite had a Large Shower and large bath. We were so happy with our say, we would be glad to return when we can

We stayed for two nights in this wonderful B&B. Dave and Jane were fabulous hosts and catered very well for us (We are vegan). Every last detail was attended to and we had somewhere we could lock our bikes up in. There is a short walk/cycle to town.
