Located on the peaceful North West Norfolk Coastline, Briarfields at Titchwell is a hidden gem. Take the A149 coastal road to find us and enjoy our tranquil setting and warm welcome that our Norfolk Hotel offers. Situated between RSPB Titchwell and Royal West Norfolk Golf course, both overlooking the beach at Brancaster, Briarfields offers peace and relaxation and as much outdoor activity as you choose. Briarfields has stunning views of the open space of Norfolk's skies and Titchwell salt marshes, which are the natural home for both freshwater and saltwater wildlife. In the winter, enjoy sitting by our log fire with a pint of real ale or our special afternoon tea. In the summer, take in the views whilst enjoying a glass of Pimms on the terrace. Briarfields has many nooks and crannies for you to find your own space to relax and enjoy time out. An ideal location for holidays, short breaks, weddings, functions and private parties, Briarfields Norfolk Hotel offers a relaxed charm and atmosphere. Many of our guests use us as a base to explore the Norfolk coast, Norfolk's historical houses and the nearby market towns of Hunstanton, Burnham Market, Fakenham and King's Lynn.

I have delayed writing my review as I was waiting to see if there was any response by the manager to the "Dog Friendly?" review.
I was also part of this group and I have noticed that the very rude manager has not done so or apologised for his very unprofessional, rude and tactl

I was very impressed by the hotel, staff etc. This review would have been very different if I was not offended since.
I was one of the party with a number of dogs. We advised the hotel we were attending a litter reunion with 6 GSD’s. We were told that was no problem. On arrival,

We are staying at Briarfields in October and I was wondering if in the Superior dog suite, if there was an outdoor bit from the bedroom where you can let your dog out? If so, is it blocked off and secure? Thanks

We would wish to bring our well-behaved dog with us. Does this limit us to the standard rooms? Are dogs allowed in the restaurant? If not, where do we leave him when we eat? Looking to book for early December.
It's best to ask the hotel. The hotel does seem to be dog-friendly. When we stayed, we saw other guests with dogs on the decking at the back of the hotel.

"Pay the little extra for a deluxe room. They are fabulous."
"Courtyard rooms nearer to reception may be quieter but our courtyard room (no 7 - nearer the road) wasn’t particularly noisy."
"My advice to anyone booking here is make sure you are not in rooms 17 or 9. and don't expect to be able to use Wifi in your room."
"Room 7 did us proud. Air con virtually silent!"
