I have always been a Wyndham fan, and this visit was no exception. The property was clean, very close to the Turnpike, and nice and quiet. I will stays on this property again! The staff was friendly, only down side, there is no elevator (Strange Ohio Thing I guess).
Breakfast was good. Very very outdated room/hotel but the king size bed was very comfortable. Ice machine only on 1st floor which was way far away from my room on 2nd floor. Never seen an elevator. Needs updating especially when we got charged $150+ a night.
No towels in the room. Had to go to the front desk for towels 2 out of the 3 days we stayed. Also to get a different coffee pot. Staff blamed the shortage of supplies because they were almost booked 100%. Don't rent rooms if you can't provide supplies.
Overall was a great stay here at days inn. Staff was friendly and room was clean. The only thing was finding a hair in the shower and maybe a few extra towels but other than that i would recommend to anyone!
We decided to leave for our trip a day early and needed a hotel near the put-in-bay ferry. I called a different Windham hotel (port clinton) at 9pm. They were booked but the guy there checked this hotel for me and booked it. When he had booked it he told me there were no elevators and well, I'm recovering from a broken ankle surgery. They quickly got us rooms on the bottom floor. When we arrived at 1:30 am we were put in the room closest to the lobby. The room was clean and cool. The pillows were perfect and the beds were comfortable. I thought being close to the lobby it would be noisy but we didn't hear a peep. There was a grab in go breakfast that was expected, most hotels do it this way since covid. The customer service was excellent from the guy who went out of his way to book us at another hotel. To the lady at the counter when we got here. Needless to say when I logged onto trip advisor to leave a review I was shocked to see the negative reviews! …
