All the bad stuff you read in the other reviews is true. BUT, there’s more. I couldn’t get the tv to work. I told the owner the problem. He immediately said I must have messed up the “programming” of the tv and he may have to pass on a charge of $199.00 from the cable company to fix it. He came into my room, spent 10-15 minutes fiddling with the remote and announced it was my fault for pushing the wrong button on it. He said since he personally fixed it without calling the cable company, there would be no charge. I didn’t turn on the tv after that. I should mention that this remote is an indecipherable relic. It’s hard for me to imagine that most people figure out how to get it to work without at least some trouble. But pushing one wrong button could result in a $199.00 charge. You might want to lawyer up before staying here.

I liked it. It was a nice vintage roadside Motel. Yes it's older but it was clean and inexpensive. Staff was kind and courteous. I like these older motels if you can find them in good shape. This one will not upset. Small refrigerator and microwave Wi-Fi. Very quiet a nice piece of American nostalgia.

Where to even start? We got in around 10pm so we rang the bell, and waited for the owner to open the door. After 5 minutes waiting in the cold we rang again since it looked like it would have been the cheaper place compared to a lot of the other hotels/motels in the area. Finally a woman answered. She was nice enough, and we paid 65$ per room which was a bit much in my opinion compare to the 45$ we had paid the night before at another motel. Get into the room and oh my God. It looked like i had walked into a horror movie motel. It was clean enough looking, but the “queen” beds were full sized beds and the ceiling had floating tiles that had extreme water damage which would have been fine...until we opened the bathroom door. A hefty smell of mushrooms, mildew, and sulfur well water wafted into the room. The room was cold as well and we were thankful we had our own blankets to put over the others which had holes in them! When we turned on the shower the smell of rotten mushrooms and sewage filled the air. Even after taking a shower, which I regret, I still felt dirty. Then came the bed. It felt like I was sleeping on a rock considering the carpeted floor was softer. If it wasn’t for the fact that we were desperate we wouldn’t have stayed because 65$ a room is a crime for a room that disgusting. I’m glad we lied and didn’t tell them about our cats after finding out they charged 20$ for each animal when I’ve been in cow barns that smelled better! The only reason it gets a one star is because there were no bed bugs. NEVER STAY HERE!

If I could give this place negative stars, I would! We were in a time crunch and were only there to get about 4 hours sleep and a shower. The water in the shower stall came out so rusty and didn't drain so it filled up the bottom of the stall at least 8 inches and was so dark, you couldn't even see the bottom of the stall! It was almost black! Let the water run probably 5 minutes, but it never got any better. When the water finally did drain, there was so much sediment on the bottom of the stall, it was disgusting! There were four bulbs over the bathroom sink, but only one worked. There was a glass shelf above the sink faucet that prohibited us from pulling the faucet handle up all the way. We could only pull it up enough to get a trickle. The manager was extremely rude and refused to give us any compensation. This place should be closed down!

We stayed here in the Fall of 2017, and I should have just paid the little extra and stayed at the Days Inn, Comfort Inn, or any place but here. The room was like a motel room out of the fifties....terribly behind the times, especially for the money. The television did not work, and the owner tried to explain over the phone that you had to press a certain button to make it work. I tried, numerous times, with no luck. The mattress was also from the fifties and not at all comfortable. For the $80.30 it cost, we would have been almost as comfortable staying in our car. I have permanently crossed this off my list.
