Three course meal. Starter was ok but roast beef was not just rare it was uncooked with blood running onto the plate and mixing with the gravy. Most were sent back but it was still tough once it had been cooked. The vegetables were no better. Food was not hot and even the

Stayed just one night but was really impressed by the hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from when we first arrived to when we left. Lovely food and a decent bedroom, with a comfortable bed. Quirky rooms, as it's an old building, but I loved that. Wasn't perfect but

Hi nannyg_05, Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your stay here with us at Santo's. It is so nice to hear that our staff (whom we are extremely proud of) made you so welcome and comfortable. You are quite correct our bedrooms are quite quirky, being individually themed. The history of the hotel I still find amazing and of course the 96ft well in reception. We look forward to greeting you in the future at the hotel.

I don't think dogs are allowed in the rooms but if you give them a call I'm sure they can confirm :)

Hi Lyn, They can handle that easily, breakfast is good, did not try other meals, rooms are hit and miss especially the ones around the covered courtyard, which are stuffy, dated and noisy. They don't seem to have to to work hard to fill the place and when we were there, there was a wedding going on, so they were less than interested in the needs of other guests, the receptionist was indifferent to our complaint about our stuffy room, made us feel like we were lucky to get one, best regards Ron
