Set in a tranquil and stunning location on the banks of the River Trent, The Priest House's history is a rich one that can be traced back almost 1,000 years. Built around a mill tower with its very own water wheels, this 42 bedroom hotel is perfectly placed for a romantic break, an exclusive conference venue or a picture perfect wedding. We've hand-picked a fine selection of food and drink to compliment the charm and romance of our English Countryside setting. Fine dine in our beautiful dining room or relax in our newly renovated and re-named Millstream Bar & Grill where you can enjoy al fresco dining overlooking the River Trent in the Summer months. We invite you to come and relax and really feel at home with us.

This hotel is in an superb location and could be stunning. Unfortunately peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling and peeling wallpaper in the bedroom show the underinvestment that has taken place. Also a bar in the evening where staff make rare and sporadic appearances when the

We went for Valentines day! We were advised by the receptionist that the cottages were a quaint setting! The photos speak for themselves! The bathroom radiator didn't work so we had to run a bath to create some heat but even then the water was luke warm. The extractor fan wasn't

Enjoyed the stay here, was put up in a cottage away from the main building but didn’t mind. Weather was really windy but the landscape is stunning. Looks like they are building a summer deck so will definitely be coming back in the summer. Food at night time was gorgeous can’t

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, we are currently working on an outside grill with is what you've seen, it'll be spectacular once done. In regards to the disappointment of you breakfast, I can only apologise about the issues with the buffet service. I will be speaking to the staff on this matter as well as the chef as to why the food was not being replenished. We do look forward to seeing you again so you can enjoy the scenery in the new area Kind Regards Gabriel

They serve meals in the bar or in the restaurant. The bar is a bit more informal but with nicely set out tables. Not sure when they finish serving but it seemed fairly relaxed so not too early I would think
