Having booked this as a surprise fir my granddaughter and niece was really looking forward to this. The morning of this was called to say it wasn't in the wigwam. The on arrival the room looked like it had been thrown together. All that was disney was a colouring sheet and a few cardboard cutouts. The music stopped after half an hour and it was not a 2 hour slot as advertised as staff started to arrange the tables for whatever was happening later. As this was a children themed event more effort could have been put in to make it that. The food was excellent and good value for money. Should have just advertised as a family brunch as that's what it was. No disney

We went to a friends wedding here and stayed the night. At best our room was basic and in desperate need of a good clean and an update. There were holes in the blinds. The sink was blocked and full. The shower was gross. Just generally disappointing.

We have just returned from an afternoon tea experience. Initially was offered in the wigwam if raining however today with wind and rain we were left under a camping gazebo as the tent had been sold for child’s party (outside because we took a little dog). The tea and coffee came cold along with clotted cream and jam. 15 minutes later the excuse for sandwiches arrived with a stand of cakes They describe as patisseries however these looked like Asda came cut into squares. Asked for no egg or smoked salmon, we received 4 fingers of cream cheese, cheese and tomato, something I cannot even describe Thought we would walk to the lake (where they filmed Bridgette Jones) however the whole of the grounds were covered (and I mean covered) with poo of some description !! I cannot believe it is dog poo and that many people who leave it but you cannot walk a step with out a pile of it being there!! Disgusted and thoroughly disappointed… please do not waste your money. The walk with the dog ended up with me carrying her and treading very carefully My 75 year old mum was bit so lucky and now have to clean her brand new shoes!

My daughter had her wedding here yesterday and I wish to comment on the fantastic service we received from all the staff. There professionalism and attention to helping make the day great was out of this world. Most of these staff were from Europe etc as is the norm in today’s catering and hotel trade. The Salary’s I presume are the minimum which is the way of the world now. There enthusiasm and kindness though was priceless and it was genuine. Yes like any big event there were hick ups etc. But have to say. Thank you for making it a wonderful day for my daughter This is the first time I have ever done a review as I don’t bother with such things but as they were exceptional then I needed to make an exception and write this Michael. Father of the bride
