Betty our hostess was delightful!
We enjoyed our visits after a fabulous and tasty breakfast. Betty is amazing...knows the area. Has a story to tell and was very helpful with answers to our questions about the community and how she came to live there. We loved the quiet, watching deer and bunnies in the large open yard. Humming birds and many others singing and enjoying the treats she left in the birdfeeders. We walked around the acreage and saw her amazing garden with a scarecrow! We walked down the street to the Rocking Horse Pub where we enjoyed a meal and the friendly waitress. There is also a pottery studio on sight which again our hostess makes herself. We purchased her Raku pottery and now have a lovely souvenir.
Thank you Betty for your warm hospitality. We enjoyed your company and home...the great sleep in the quiet and comfy bedroom. The sitting area and TV with internet helped us with our search.
We hope to be soon living the island life as we put an offer on a place. Our stay with you helped.
Thank patriciae648

I stayed in the Seascape room upstairs, which I would recommend for relaxing holidays, but not for business travel. There is a bath, as explained on the website, but unlike most baths, showering is not an option. I haven't had a long hot soak in a tub for decades! It was nice, but a complete change to my daily routine. Although there was wireless Internet, there was no desk or table for my computer, so I balanced it on my suitcase on the luggage rack. The curtains do not completely cover the windows, although the view of the acreage is lovely and the sounds of the sea lions barking is really interesting.

The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating and the breakfasts were delicious.
