The trip was unplanned - it was just an occasion, seen two days before departure. Firstly, we were put off by opinions about a place, but as soon as we came there we slowly started to see that actually, we are going to have a good time there. Fortunately, we didn't rely on people's opinions. Food - really nice, various. Drinks - hot/cold, available almost always. Rooms - comfortable. Pool - clean, spacious. Hotel staff - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They were really helpful with any kind of problem, always smiling and kind. What is more, when my sister has got her birthday, they came to our room with a cake for her!
Wonderful hotel and food was good.... Great location and short downhill walk to the beach..... Food was good for a buffet hotel meals.... Only a short bus ride to and from varna itself.... Easy to get around and explore....
We came here with my mom to spend some time together as we live in different countries. We took an All Inclusive Package which included flights and stay at the hotel ( food, beverage, accommodation ). I travel a lot with my partner back in London, on the other hand my mom had worked years ago in the hotel cleaning services. We came with low expectations, and still we got disappointed. Hotel Aurora had advertised the beach being really nearby ( 400m), when in reality we had to walk for 20min. Also, they advertised a picture with a view to the sea, however we could only see the sea far far away. Hotel Aurora has promised us all inclusive package that includes : WiFi everywhere in the hotel area, TV, Gym, Food , Bevarage, Sauna, Outside and Inside Pool, Toiletries etc. When we came in at 12pm, we have been told to wait until 2pm for our room to be ready. Nobody has shown us the amenities of the hotel, such as the ones listed above, we needed to find everything by ourselves. This was the start of poor costumer experience. When we first came inside our room we faced the dirty floor, with black hairs, windows I may assume we’re never been cleaned, in the corners of the room we found yellow sticky dust, behind our bidé the floor was brown from hairs and dust. Mirrors were not wiped, no toiletries were provided besides 30ml shampoo and 1 soap the size of one cube of chocolate. Shower head wasnt clean either, all the surfaces were covered in water calcium , instead of being shiny they were white! Underneath our beds we found more hairs, we found stains on our bedsheets!! As we also had balcony furniture, we went to check it and we found more hairs on top of the furniture plus brown stains. Our TV wasn’t working and WiFi couldn’t range our room, therefore we had to use communal areas in order to speak with our friends and family or to download movies!! Immediately after I saw all this, I went down to the reception in order to speak with someone superior. However , the lady on the reception said “ I am here alone today, my manager is coming back tomorrow”. We didn’t want to stay there anymore as we were really really disappointed, not only with the cleaningness of the room but also with the way they deal with costumer complaints. I have bought tickets back home straightaway on that day and I have paid 277£ . So instead of being a budget holiday as we initially planned it came up altogether to over 1000£ . We have waited for next day and someone superior has told us that we were going to get a refund for the days we are not satying there( Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) . On the day of our departure ( Wednesday morning) we received 250 euros and we were told that this is the money for the days that we are not staying with them. We were quite surprised by the attitude of General Manager that we requested to come and talk with us before we leave. He excused himself saying “ Why didn’t you tell me all this on the first day ? “ To what I answered “ The receptionist said she was all by herself that day and that a superior person will only be available next day” . He said I am not saying the truth, and that all that happened is t his fault. I have said in response “ If you’re a general manager , you should know how to manage the hotel and how to keep it clean and tidy” . After that the General Manager had walked away, turning his back to us while I was still talking. He didn’t want to take responsibilities. The senior receptionist said to me afterwards “ I don’t think you’re correct, because our manager had to interrupt a meeting to come and speak to you” . I was shocked! I have asked them to pay us a taxi to an airport which equals 7 euros , in compensation of his attitude. To this query I have also received a NO. Our room was inhabitable, it’s was disgusting and ruined all our holiday mood! We have spent much more money than we planned, and we have been treated really bad, without any consideration for costumer experience.…
We stayed in the hotel for few nights during the main summer season, because we were in Varna and the other hotel where our group stayed has not accepted dogs. During all the stay cleaner has not visited our room, and we have to ask her to come, saying she was scared of the dog, however we were all the day in the room. Breakfast offer was very limited and after sometimes there were no clean coffee cups and guests were collecting them from outside terrace by themselves. Lunch was really mass production without any taste and organisation.
Stayed here for couple of nights then came to Varna. Friedly staff, good price, clean rooms, nice pool. Wifi only in oublic areas, food could be much much better (i did not like it at all). Took all inclusive, but drinks are more adopted for locals.
