4stars hotel ... do not believe that . Thre star so so ....The golden age of the hotel was decades ago, now they just try to fix what is going down. Uncomfortable beds, smelly rusty toilets and bathroom with mirror where you could hardly recognized yourself, clima not working and the people staying in the hotel were mostly poor nativ and russians with golden necklet tatoo and nike brand even on their forehead who thought that the word is their. Even without scrupule take take over your deckchair, through your staff away and or even chair at the restaurant when you went for dring they just takeover eventhough friends tould them that the chair is occupied, they start to fight. One good think there was, the emal was fresh and very goodl. Moreover, we had gluten free child and they promised that they will know what to do and first two days we had to feed him from home staf at hey did not talk in english at all except they manager ..... The beach small full of people

the good: The food was good. Even if not lot of choices - there was always chicken and veal/pork, sausages and salami. Cheese - excellent at least 3 types always. 3-4 type of salads ; 4-5- fruits that kept rotated (apples, oranges, plums, grapes, watermelon, melons) the best of all - the sweets! The personal from the cafeteria where working really hard and fast to keep up with the mess people were leaving behind; Bonus - the parking space is free; the bad: the rooms are quite old and need a refreshment and bathrooms - need repairs- leaking ; since we were 5 - 2 adults - 2 kids - 6 and 4 and 1 infant - but booked a room for 4(2 adults and 2 kids), we were moved to a bigger room(and paid the difference). Excellent sea view from the room, but, kind of dangerous for the small kids. It was at the 4th floor with 2 level room, and the stairs are definitely kids friendly. Conditioners are old and make a lot of noise - but they were effective and keeping the rooms cold.

It was not so bad if it was a 2 or 3 stars hotel; but for a 4 stars I was disappointed. The walls in the room were full of blood from mosquitoes, the AC does not work properly and the bathroom looks awful. Nothing has changed since it was build I guess. If I were in 1995 it would have been a wonderful hotel, but IT's 2017. The hours when the food was served are made so you cannot eat. Especially snacks are between 2-4:30 pm when most of the guest are sleeping. The food in the main restaurant was not always fully cooked. I found beans that were not cooked at all. The service on the beach was OK. The wi-fi had some problems and at the beach was not at all. I almost forgot to say about the third bed which was so uncomfortable. I cannot say that was a proper bed. The mattress was so slim, my back hurt so bad. If it was a 3☆ I would not have something to complain, but for a 4☆ I had some expectations.

Hello, we will be hiking in the month of June 2017. The hotel is really poor and can not imagine where the 4 stars are? Very rude, hard beds, lobby bar, little food, smells of the dining room. We are not very smart, but in this case I hope someone will have a good vacation. Not recommended for anyone.

We chose Bulgaria because of the non safe situation in Turkey, where we had booked a nice 5 star hotel a year ago. So this is my first and the last visit in this country.. Dolphin hotel, and the all Grand Hotel Varna complex is so old, dirty, broken, tear, that I still can't imagine, that it could possibly be! 4 stars? 5 stars (grand hotel varna)? No! Maybe 20 years ago. Now is like a hotel with no stars. Thanks God we're leaving. I couldn't sleep all night, because I was afraid of the cockroaches we found living in the bathroom.. I'm arfaid even imagine what's under the sheets...
