Add to that the exquisite beauty of a nature reserve which boasts some of the best dives and fishing in the world, sumptuous meals made of local delights, and relaxing on a powdery white beach. All this just off the Mozambican coast. Welcome to Situ Island Resort. The most relaxing holiday destination to date. Situated in the most southern section of the spectacular Quirimbas National Park, Mozambique, Situ Island forms part of the Quirimbas Archipelago - 28 islands of which 11 are coral islands between the towns of Pemba in the south and Palma in the north. Described by guests as "breath-taking", "intimate", "secluded" and "wunderbar", Situ Island Resort is unique in that you can book the entire island exclusively for your friends and family, if you wish.

Situ is exactly as it should be ... the setting, the food, the activities (diving, kayaking, beach), the staff, the rooms ... all excellent and well above expectations at this price point. Very well done.

We traveled in a group and after arriving at Pemba were met by Craig and his team for the boat ride to Situ. We were very impressed with the way the resort is run by Craig and Tess and the rest of the staff who were very friendly. During our weeks stay several other people stayed who were also friendly so the resort seems to attract like minded people. The food was excellent and varied and the service was very good. Diving was supervised by Tess and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dives. Rooms are clean and all situated on the beach. Recommended and hope to get back there during the next few months.

Paradise doesn't come close to Situ Island Resort. The rooms are the perfect combination of luxurious, rustic, and functional; with the benefit of extras to make them feel like more than just a place to sleep. The people. Wow. Kind. Charismatic. Enthusiastic. Irreplaceable. The food. My word. THE FOOD! Home made, handmade, unique and bloody delicious. The views... Everywhere your eyes see is utterly gorgeous. Photography? Macro, underwater, vast landscapes - it's all beautiful to say the least. My recommendation? Why haven't you booked yet??
