This review is relatively objective being written after my 14th road trip - this one taking in 14 properties over 34 nights. Stayed one night in April. What a welcome haven on the R56 after a day of driving in the pouring rain. Easily found on the edge of town. Plenty of secure undercover parking - car to room without getting wet! Friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are motel like rather than in a larger building as the Booking.com picture suggests - no matter, they are of an adequate size, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Perhaps a little old fashioned even to us oldies, but perfect for the purpose. The in house bistro closed relatively early - but this didn’t matter to us after a long tiring driving day. The food was wholesome, tasty and good value - just what we needed. The bistro lacked a little atmosphere, but overall did the job for us. Breakfast was to a reasonable standard. Decent enough WiFi. Very good stop over point - there didn’t seem to be much on offer in other en route towns.

Great spot for a stopover between Durban and Eastern Cape. The rooms are comfortable and clean - and we had a good breakfast. Our dog was also welcome. Definitely stop there on our next trip. Price is reasonable and hosts were welcoming and helpful.
