We truly loved our stay here! The hosts were so incredibly lovely, and the rooms were beautiful! The house sits on a hill overlooking the wineries - loved the view especially with the autumn colours. The wonderful breakfast was a great way to start the day. Highly recommended!

We have just spent two days in the glorious Barossa Valley and had the pleasure of staying at the gorgeous Abbotsford Lodge. Our hosts Jane and Julian could not have been more welcoming and breakfast was a treat which we shared in their large farmstyle kitchen, along with the other guests. The homestead has been purpose built as a Guest...

What a wonderful long weekend we had here. Hosts Jane and Julian could not do enough for us. Big country brekky, big country bed, big country hospitality. The house was off the main road and a little off road. Very quiet location with a panoramic view of the Lyndoch area complete with rolling hills and vineyards. Perfect for a weekend...

My husband and I booked in for 3 nights. We had been to the Barossa Valley before and had an idea of what we wanted to visit. For those who have not visited before, I guess you may want to stay longer. This lovely venue will make the perfect base to explore the surrounds. Spectacular valley views, homely and hospitable...

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The accommodation was superb as was the breakfast and the gardens were beautiful. The hospitality of our hosts was second to none and they were so helpful giving us information on the local area as it was our first time visiting the Barossa Valley, then the clare valley. The attention to detail was exacting.

Fantastic place to stay for a night or a week! Friendly, knowledgeable and easy going environment. A beautiful breakfast to be had in the morning with more than the stomach can handle, absolutely spot on. Service, customer care and clean. We will be back again. Thank you both.

Abbotsford country house is the epitomy of relaxation. The house is perfectly placed with 360o views of the Barossa providing a real homely feel from its owners Jane and Julian. We couldn't have been more welcomed, it is just superb. I was surrounded by childhood memories having grown up on a farm in the U.K. The home made breakfast is...

Well-proportioned, comfortable, quiet rooms with full en-suite facilities. Large guest lounge and large communal dining/kitchen area where Jane, ably assisted by Julian, serve up the most sumptuous breakfasts using local produce. The absence of wi-fi and TV in the rooms is a definite plus point for anyone wanting to get away from it all. However, if you need it, wi-if...
