I loved staying here in this caravan park. Last time I had a cabin but this time I stayed in my van under the trees near the facilities ...toilets, laundry, and walk to the Marina at the back and the par and walking track on the other side. Tin Can Bay has great walking tracks for birds and photography and this central location is wonderful. The caravan park is well equipped and you can book tours and trips at the front desk. The dolphin feeding is down the road and a small take away supplies great fish and chips

Lovely place to stay right across from the water.
Clean, tidy and well organised. Dog friendly
Walking/bike path across the road that follows the foreshore. Tide goes out a long way so you can run the dogs at low tide.
Only downside is the price, $45 per night a little steep though it was school holidays.

Lovely staff, we found the pricing of camp sites to be very reasonable. Amenities were very clean and well kept, camp kitchen was very spacious but abit dirty. Was an over night stop over for us and we would definitely stay again. Receptionist was very happy to share his knowledge of the local area and point us in the right direction of things to see and do.

Perhaps we were naive but these cabins were advertised as 2 bedroom but are a cramped bedroom and a set of bunks in the kitchen. There is a water view of the water but it’s across a busy road. The cabins are well past there prime and grubby although the linen was fresh and clean.
My biggest gripe was when the adjoining cabin was occupied by a large group of 4 adults and 5 children, the children were sent over the road to ride their scooters and play, No problem, the adults then got stuck into the booze and the foul language was amazing which along with the clouds of cigarette smoke caused us considerable discomfort. When we spoke to the reception office we were advised by her that she was aware that there were that number of people but they were only staying one night. We didn’t think this was a satisfactory answer and asked for a refund on the additional 2 nights we had booked excepting that we had used the facilities on this day, she initially offered a voucher for another time but then said she would have to speak to the owner? We will not hold our breath!

Neat and tidy park. We stayed in cabin and it was perfect for price and what we needed. Great coffee shop 100m up road, dolphins around corner and beach across the road with great bike paths and kids play parks.

Great place to stay with clean amenities and easy access sites. Glen was a great host and the park is kept to a very high standard. We stayed 3 nights and would recommend it to any one.

Tips

Go to the dolphin feeding. Walk just up the road and you can feed a dolphin there

We stayed one night in a unit at this caravan park and I absolutely can not fault the lovely Nat who assisted us throughout with our stay. Originally booked on booking.com (big mistake) who overcharged us. Than a couple of days before our stay we were had to make some last minute changes. Thankfully Nat was able to assist and made our stay very pleasant.

Amenities were clean, staff very helpful. Sites needed a bit of a mow as we were on grassed site, grass was a bit long, travelling with a baby who was learning to crawl etc, it meant we had to put blankets down as the grass was too long for her to sit and play on. There was a bit of a mosquito / sandfly problem (clearly not the parks fault, just an observation). Rain on the last morning meant we were packing up in the wet, and our mat that we’d placed on the awning side, was floating in mud. Perhaps some levelling of the sites would have been helpful, or concrete slab for all caravan sites.

I had a lovely fellow help me with check in. Very laid back and helpful. The camp grounds were not vast , but the gardens are lush and it had such a quaint feel to it. The powered sites very shady. I loved it. Thank you for our lovely stay.

Lovely quaint caravan park with modern facilities. Host is very friendly and close walk to marina, dolphin feeding, bar/cafes and IGA. Area is nice and quiet. Would recommend the stay here over highly populated tourist areas if you seeking somewhere to relax.
