Overall great place to stay for the price. Furniture a lil outdated. Walls need a fresh coat of paint. But had no problems with management and the cleanliness of room. I would definitely stay again. Close To Eating establishments and a quiet area

Overall this place is just a cheap place for crackheads to hide out.
The manager is an idiot and very rude.
For sure not a place
families.
Our room was foul and smelled of smoke. We saw several bugs in our room.
The bathroom was not clean with hair in shower.
When I asked to check out with a refund the manager would only offer to put us in a different room
There were many shady looking people walking around the area and in thr parking lot.
By far the worst of worst in hotels.
Stay far away from this establishment.

A pretty good value for the money. The Manager is a hateful grumpy old man. The place needs some renovation and updating. Location is good. Wireless internet. If you are short on money, it is a good value. If money is no problem, go to a chain. If I did not have to deal with the grumpy old manager, I might stay again.

This place looks a little like a dive, but I'm really glad I gave it a try. I've stayed here twice and both times was very happy with it.

For the unbelievable low price of $38, I got a large, spacious, clean and nicely decorated room, complete with a small sofa, coffee table and even a small dining table. The room also had a fridge and microwave. Nice lighting too!

The family that owns this lives right here, so I doubt they tolerate much late-night noise or shenanigans, and I had no issues with loud or rowdy guests on either of my stays.

And rare for a cheaper, non-chain motel they even have free high-speed wireless internet. Wow!

As a final plus, there are plenty of eateries within walking distance, if you're tired of driving.

All around, a great find, would highly recommend!

This place has always been a seedy dump, but you generally can expect to get what you paid for. I've stayed here about a dozen times in the past, and the rooms were always $40. There were always seedy transients hanging around, and lots of noise and door slamming and drug activity, but again, not unexpected for cheap seedy place. This past week, I checked in and was shocked that the price has jumped to $60. I politely mentioned that it used to be $40 but the receptionist (who has worked there for years) shook her head "no". She was a poor liar.

All evening there was the usual drug activity and cars coming and going at all hours, yelling, etc. At bedtime I went to turn on the heat, only to find that the heat/AC unit was broken. I called the front desk repeatedly but there was no answer. Spent a cold night shivering.

At checkout, I complained (again politely) that the room had no heat, and was expecting to be offered at least a partial refund. Instead, I was waved off and told "have a nice day". NEVER AGAIN! The next night I stayed at one of the chain hotels in the same city and it was the same price as the Royal Inn dump. Why anyone would spend $60 at this place instead of the 3 other nice places for the same price is beyond me.

Got a nice clean and quite large room for only $47/night and was initially very pleased. But as night fell, I kept hearing yelling and cars constantly coming on going from adjacent rooms. I don't know if they were semi-homeless people living here, or drug dealers, or what, but I became concerned about my truck being broken into.

Management needs to be more careful who they allow to stay here. It seems like a nice family-run motel and really is clean, comfortable and affordable, but with these shady characters yelling and constantly revving their cars in and out, it will scare off budget-conscious travelers just looking for an affordable, clean room.
